Not really common in situations other than a Catholic priest. So not sure what was that about.

Not out yet. Could be just a bad twist. I am guessing a strain. Could have different levels of severity. At Barca he had something similar in 2014 and was out for 3 weeks.

C'mon, it's Neymar we are talking about here. If he got subbed he'd create some drama. He is going to want to play every minute of every game he wants to and this is not a coach that Neymar respects.

Plus, he got injured by himself. Nobody fouled him. And I am also convinced Neymar enjoys getting hit.

    Moving Neymar issues here.

Neymar place the blame of revealing her intimate pics and name on his staff. Said he asked them not to put it ...

So you're telling me his father, who's 100% in control of everything related to his son, didn't double check what was going out ? How about his lawyers ?

    Bullshit.

At the end of the day Neymar's biggest problem is his father, from sheltering him and being overprotective to treating him like the goose that laid the golden egg and overexposing him.

True. It's not a bad thing having family around, but his father apparently still runs everything even though he says he doesn't anymore. Lewis Hamilton at some point "emancipated" from his father. That's what Neymar needs to do. But that could be even worse because inside he is still a kid.

The father's role is irrelevant in all of this.
The girl is a blatant liar and seeking money, I know the type.
    Another false bullshit rape accusation.

I actually like that he is very close with his parents and siblings. As far as him being a kid this is really a generational thing and not a Neymar thing. They are called the nutella generation in brazil for a reason. We havent had natural leaders in the team since the remaining pentas retired in 2010.

A woman can want sex and still be raped if she said "no, not without a condom".

This case is unusual because of how much information is out there, but nothing in the picture you showed addresses the issue.

I know better than to think there will be a good conversation on the subject here, which is why I've avoided talking about the case itself, but the ESPN clip is worth watching and listening to.

As to Neymar's father, it's like with any child star. Rarely are the parents the most qualified to handle the star's career and fortune. Having family around is good, I agree with that much. But having family be your agent is problematic more often than not.

they must not have Postmates in Paris, and the thought of a 15 min trip to the drugstore before getting laid was enough for Neymar to channel his inner Jack the Ripper.

You're right about this. Even though I think she is lying in this case, something along the way can make any woman (or man for that case) feel uncomfortable even though her intention was to have sex. Shit ... look at Neymar in that vide released. They were going to clearly have sex again, she slapped him and he said "not like that" and got up.

Neymar Sr. was on Grande Circulo a few weeks ago. I've never seen a sports athlete's parent be on a program like that. He loves the spotlight. It's supposed to be Neymar in that spot.

    Raped? come on, total bullshit.
I don't believe any of it, condom/no condom, all bullshit excuses to extort money.
Does Neymar seem like a rapist ? Of course not.
And nothing wrong with having family around to support you. I know in my difficult times in life, having my father, mother and brother to be by my side and to support me is what pulled me out of undeserving bad situations.
Anyway, just as in the CR7 case, this case will also blow away.

Nobody is saying Neymar is guilty . Just pointing out that many don’t understand the full definition of rape .

And that’s precisely the problem I have, is with the vague definition of rape. If a woman changes her mind of wanting to have sex because no condom, or bad smell, or too hairy, whatever the reason, she can get up and walk out. If she proceeds to have sex, even after she says no, she has fully consented. Now if the man physically, and aggressively grabs the girl, tears off her clothing, forces her with all his might into the bed, then that to me is the definition of rape.
Thank you for agreeing this was not the case here with Neymar, and I don’t believe that was the case with Mike Tyson and Rick James both of whom spent years in jail for false rape accusation, and I don’t believe it was the case with judge Kavanaugh, with Judge Clarence Thomas, and many many more.
Tired of seeing the lives of young men destroyed over false rape accusations.

You can disagree with the definition if you want, but sex without consent is rape.

More importantly though, don't peddle the lie that these men's lives were destroyed by accusations. False accusations would be bad, but they are not as frequent as the narrative makes them out to be and they do not destroy lives in the examples put forward.

Well ... some men and women will just look at those first text messages and already assume she wasn't raped giving her no choice of changing her mind before the act.

That's fine you don't think those men were guilty, but we don't really know. But just don't say Bill Cosby was innocent.

Bill Cosby was definitely guilty; there was no physical force, but drugs used to have sex with a female that did not consent.
And I think spending years in a maximum security jail for a “rape” you did not commit, is ruining your life.
If she doesn’t want the sex, she can get up and leave anytime. Rape is per my definition. Now, society is even trying to raise the bar to the point the female must say yes before the sex.
I have seen young men get expelled from universities and prosecuted for false rape charges, and that is in fact ruining the boy’s life.
