Following a tumultuous 4-1 win in front of 17,211 on Saturday we lose 8-1 at Swansea four days later live on BBC 1.
America just beat Toronto today in a friendly 6-3. Toronto's goals were a Giovinco free kick and a brace from Altidore.
Players covering both posts ☑️Goalkeeper positioned dead centre ☑️Another free kick golazo? ✅Try as you may, there's just no stopping Sebastian Giovinco 💥🐜🎯#TFCLive | #AMEvTOR https://t.co/2ZuMMxqy6A— Toronto FC (@TorontoFC) February 8, 2018 Defenders on both posts to cut down the space? No problem. Giovinco will loop it over the tiny space defender leaves on a post. Ridiculous how good he is on free kicks.

FCD really dominated Cartagines of Costa Rica tonight. The final score was 3-1, but it could have been anything. They're probably ahead of most MLS teams right now as they're preparing for the CCL match against Tauro on Feb 21st. They played some really nice stuff. By the way, for those that haven't seen him before...............the surging run down the right flank is homegrown Reggie Cannon. He looks to have solidified the starting right back job. By the end of the season it won't surprise me if folks are thinking about him for January USMNT camp. Right back ain't exactly the deepest position in MLS. Here's their first goal............................. 962478325951320065 is not a valid tweet id
Watching Montreal impact play the Las Vegas USL club in exhibition tonight. Montreal needs to improve their roster, quick. Right now, they're nowhere close to a playoff team, both talent wise and depth wise. They need a starting CB, CM, striker as well as depth at the wide positions.
Nah, all Montreal needs is to be able to play against that Las Vegas keeper every weekend, and they will be fine. Oh my, is that guy tragic or what?!
Giovinco with another free kick goal in a 3-0 win over Cruz Azul. You're not gonna believe this, but... Sebastian Giovinco did that thing again 💥🐜🎯#TFCLive | #AZLvTOR https://t.co/MP6DBnNwB5— Toronto FC (@TorontoFC) February 13, 2018
From SBNation Well, that sucked. "New York City FC traveled to the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. on Saturday to do battle with five-time MLS champs LA Galaxy, in the club’s first broadcasted preseason matchup of 2018. The Galaxy routed City, 3-0, in a game marred by poor performances on both ends of the ball, as well as the controversial sending off of fullback Ronald Matarrita in the first half."
Didn't look like you played many players that would expect to see time this year, did you? Was very one sided. I was disappointed that you guys weren't allowed to go back to 11v11 after halftime. That sending off didn't help either team.
I only saw the reaction on Facebook. 3-0'defeat last night too against the bottom team in Liga Acenso, despite starting with the full first team.

Kellyn Acosta came off injured (holding his groin). Bad sign for him playing in the CCL in a few days. One thing I will say about him ... I have always seen Acosta as a bit of a lightweight who gets pushed off the ball easily. It appears that he has put on some muscle in the offseason.
