Came on in the 62nd as FCN fell to 1860 2-0. Found this on ESPN:
90'+1' Shawn Parker (1. FC Nürnberg) hits the bar with a right footed shot from a difficult angle on the right. Assisted by Even Hovland.

Wow, they're even more generous with assists than MLS is! ;)

Shawn Parker has ended his loan at Nurnburg and has returned to Augsburg where his contract was extended August last year through 2019

Surely he'll go out on loan again?

Is he going to figure for playing time in the Bundesliga this season?

    Still alive?!? CAP HIM NOW!!!!

How old is he now? IIRC he's Terrence Boyd's age-ish. 25-26?

He's started twice for Augsburg's U23s in Regionalliga Bayern, scoring one goal, and also missing a penalty kick attempt. No time so far with the first team.

Started today for Augsburg II in a 2 - 2 draw with Rosenheim in Regionalliga (Bayern) - still alive!

transfer window is over and Augsburg have loaned out 6 players in the Winter transfer.

nothing for Shawn who'll be 25 very soon. Feel bad that last time he was relevant was back in the 2012-2013 season while still being at Mainz.

I believe I read that he's not even in Augsburg's plans and has also barely played this season.

he's on the bench today vs Frankfurt. Seems only there because Finnbogason is currently out.

was an unused sub and one of the subs actually scored the 3rd goal, so Parker's chance might be less than before assuming that Finnbogason will still be out next matchday.

Richter who scored off the bench is now out injured. Could be a chance for Parker to getting playing time.

between his career full of injuries and playing in lower divisions.

This seems to be his timeline
last time on the field in 1BL,
    May 23 2015, almost 3 years ago....

before the recent bench appearance, hasn't made any bench appearances in 1BL since.
April 9, 2016 which was almost 2 years ago.

will be 25 years old next month and has yet to establish a career after having a good 1st season when he was 19-20. By the time he reestablishes himself he could already be 27+. Talk about wasted potential.

on the bench again, as the Icelandic striker is still out.
