    As preseason matches are starting to kick off we need someplace to discuss them, and potentially other "very important" sporting events that may or may not be relevant.

    For some reason I expected this "young lineup" to be, I don't know - younger. Inexperienced it may be, but young, not so much.

    I am not entirely sure what the point of that lineup was. If it had been a normal January camp leading up to a World Cup, to WCQ, or to a Gold Cup, then some of the choices would have made more sense. But since none of those three are the case, then ?

    They don't have a technical director or a idea of who they want as coach. If there was a term to describe a position lower than sitting duck for Sarachan, it would be apt.

    Other than bringing some players into a national team camp, giving a few players a pre-pre-season, and some cash; the camp is pretty worthless.

    The irony being that the move to get a technical director and coach is dependent on an election for an unpaid position with little to no unilateral power.

    Women's soccer in the US is tactically miserable. Now that other countries are starting to develop, you know, talent, we're kind of ********ed.
