imagine if we still have KdB and Salah. Actually, that would be hard to play all 3 with Hazard. Thank god we didn't do that.
Yeah, I dont think they would have become the players they are today without leaving. And they weren't going to push anyone out of their starting role. Same for Lukaku. I feel De Bruyne could've played very regularly, but Jose has his guys.
I think he is a great buy for them as well. His goal scoring rate is pretty great even though he racks up goals vs the easier teams typically. He will add pace to an extremely slow offensive unit and the price is worth the gamble.
I don't hate Walcott. I wouldn't have bought him. I wouldn't have bought Drinkwater or Barkley, either. But this move for Walcott was 4 years too late from a career standpoint. Way too loyal to a club where he was always benched.
Holy crap. And this is why we didn't go after Sanchez, a player on the downslide of his career. "The 29 year-old will be paid £14m a year after tax - just under £27m a year before tax - to join United, on top of his £30m valuation, £20m signing-on fee, and an agents’ fee worth more than £10m. That all adds up to around £180m for a player who had entered the final six months of his Arsenal contract and goes some way to explaining why Manchester City walked away from negotiations. Similarly, despite Antonio Conte admitting his admiration of the Chilean, Chelsea, who went close to signing Sanchez last summer, would not match the figures on offer at Old Trafford." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...four-year-manchester-united-contract-arsenal/
Huge money was 200k with an outstanding offer for 300k. He will probably get somewhere between that and 350.
Didn't really want Sanchez, but didn't want anybody else to have him either. We do need a striker. Andrew Carroll. where does one begin with that suggestion? a battering ram. we do need striker. I like Batsman, but Conte does not.
Dzeko has 12 goals in 26 appearances and they're into the knockout stages of the CL. They're pushing for top 4 in Serie A. He's their leading scorer and has a contract until 2020. That's going to be a tough transfer. Sounds like "Chelsea are interested in Roma's left back - hey wouldn't Dzeko be nice at Chelsea maybe, maybe not, hmmmmm?"
