Worst German NT player hmmm... Since Josephine Henning’s not in the NT anymore then Peter by a landslide lol, possesses no skills at all what I’m looking for in a center back and should get her butt kicked far far far away from the NT and Wolfsburg so Elsig/Demann and Wensing/Wedemeyer can take over. Gosh what does the coaches even see in her, I’ve watched hobby centerbacks that could with ease pass a ball properly up to midfield. To end it; poor player but Steffi loves her for some reason so she’s gonna stick around this year as well. If they fail to qualify for the World Cup then she HAS TO BE DONE.

    http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/...ery-happy-with-the-choice-i-made-2923199.html

I read articles from time to time about Sasic. People have been discussing wether she was a great player or not but she was certainly above average. Her moment for me though was that missed penalty kick in the World Cup...

Then we’ll see what happens with Lena this year, that’s interesting for me.. If she’s not picked for the next squad then Steffi’s shooting herself in the leg because she shows great performances for Wolfsburg...

This is something I wanna see for the SheBelieves Cup:

    Maier, Elsig, Demann, Simon

    Kemme, Gössling

    Huth, Maro, Magull

    Popp

Well, at 24th of December I thought it was quite early for New Year's resolutions, but apparently I was wrong...

It's the strongest league in Europe from top to bottom, but France and may be England have top teams in the same class.

The Buli not only got Germany's best but gets help that it got all of Austria's starting NT's along with most of the Swiss as well. Then it got some of the best eastern Euro players around & as well as always as the usual assortment of top quality from the Scandinavian countries.

The French League might have the strongest contingent of internationals, but their all situated in just 3 star studded teams/ The rest of the league is supposedly just amateurs. England seems to be in a similar situation

The Swedish League suffers because several of their own play abroad. But they'v made up in part of getting these super fast strikers out of various African countries. which helps them still stay as probably the fourth best league in Europe/

Then it’s interesting to see if poor performances in the SheBelieves Cup would change anything? Maybe not but

I love Frauen Bundesliga, so many good teams and a pretty «close» league except from some teams... but you have Wolfsburg, Bayern, Freiburg, Potsdam, Frankfurt, Essen... but then it’s worrying that Wolfsburg (mostly) are buying more and more foreigner players and not buying Germans... Wolfsburg might soon not be a German team anymore, sadly

Elsig’s long balls + Alushi... :whistling:

I think it was an unexpected one...
but imagine Alushi at the left side instead of Popp would’ve been way better
maybe Neid would’ve subbed out Sasic then and put Popp up there,,, no??

Imagine that: Thomsen is from Norway, 18-20 yo according to him, writes in perfect native speaker English, is able to perfectly understand German, is a German NT fan, turns up out of nothing to this little corner of the internet, knows players from 10-5 years ago (remarkable given the assumed age) and knows how to keep the conversation going around here...

Im sorry but my tinfoil hat tells me there is no way this is possible. You're either a shadow user used by mods to create traffic here or given the time frame and love for Norway you are former user known as law10.

You can deny it thats ok but it wont help you.

i’m a blessing to this thread

just kidding lmao I guess I showed up here somewhere around the Olympics last year, dunno who law10 is

I have relatives in Germany so we watched the WC 11 together and that’s when i got slightly interested in woso although I got my eyes up for it euro 2013 and world cup 2015. That’s also the reason why I know German lol

Ofc I know some players from the winning world cup teams lol same as that i know the players from the winning world cup team in 1990 although i wasn’t born then, it’s not unusual to do so... hmm @Ger90 :whistling:

tough one, I really liked Huth & Popp's goal vs France, but I really hate that game cause it saved Jones butt! And what on earth is Peter doing on this list? I'll go with Dallmann's Canadian goal cuz it saved the say after another Henning flub!

And speaking of Dallmann, she's still leading the vote for player of the year over batfink's lovey dovey.

    https://fanclub.dfb.de/fan-club/deine-stimme-zaehlt/nationalspielerin-des-jahres/

shame we can't invite over to this lil group all those who voted for Dallmann. Better yet, invite those 160 that voted for Peter so you got someone to spare with!

Popp and Huth’s goals rank second and third for me, I voted for Leo’s goal against Brazil. Yes lmao what does Peter’s goal do on the list? It seems to me like she has a good position within the team since she’s constantly nominated to awards like player of the year... 160 votes really? 160 too much.

Yes Dallmann deserves to be player of the year for her consistently good performances for the NT everytime Jones decides to sub her on. If I were to rank the German players this year, she’s definitely been the best.

looks like Jones wants Goessling back again
    http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/n...-macht-die-tur-fur-lena-goessling-wieder-auf/

while several Eruo teams are playing friendlies this months, seems like Jones is keeping her team at low profile. Possibly doesn't Low(or any decent coach) available to horse whisper to her?(like obviously in the French game). The next game should be up is in the Sheba tournament where at least she'll find at least England & France in somewhat disarray(several prominent coaches have all ready turned down the England NT offer while the French coach seemed like she was teaching her players how to take out laundry out to dry than actual soccer ,lol)

It would've been suicide for Jones if she didn't though considering that Gössling's consistently performing well for Wolfsburg, pairing Fischer now because Peter can't do shit and is class when 100% fit. I don't think Peter will ever get benched by Steffi before she's getting benched at Wolfsburg.

Will Steffi soon pick the players she wants for an eventually world cup in France, or she's going to pick new players and use this year to "experiment"?? hmm
