I never heard back, but he seems to now be with a Swiss club called Ostermundigen. http://www.fcostermundigen.ch/sport...5643/roster_id/8470/team_id/2098/category/375
Here's a Transfermarkt page for a possible Swiss-American '96 named Mike Jaber on the second team of a club in Switzerland. https://www.transfermarkt.com/mike-jaber/profil/spieler/365985
Ahmet Brown, who has been mentioned here before, was a senior and sometime starter for NAIA Keiser, in Florida, this fall. http://kuseahawks.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1614
UEFA's web site lists an '00 named Irgins Boriçi, who appears to be in the youth setup of Albanian club KF Vllaznia, as American. https://www.uefa.com/uefayouthleague/season=2018/clubs/player=250113872/profile/index.html T'Markt says the same. I am guessing that their source is UEFA. Unfortunately, they don't list a birthplace. https://www.transfermarkt.com/irgins-borici/profil/spieler/541009 On the club's site, he's on the U17 roster as "Irgin." T'Markt has him with the U19s. So is he a Yank? No idea. I didn't see any obvious signs to that effect on his public Facebook page. His Instagram is private, though he calls himself a "soccer player" on it. And there's no American news coverage I could easily find. With that said, anything's possible. The name "Boriçi" has some soccer history behind it -- it's the name of one of Albania's stars of the 1940s, Loro Boriçi. Of course, I have no idea if they're related.
T'Markt now has him at TSV Essingen, but I couldn't easily confirm that. It says he joined just a few days ago, so it's possible that the club is behind.
He also has a UEFA profile page: https://www.uefa.com/under19/season=2018/teams/player=250115009/index.html
Soccer Talents says a '99 at Augsburg is a German-American teammate of Mo Malone's. http://www.soccer-talents.com/Christian_Miller-3_7-263094-12.html He played with the U19s this month. And he is listed on the team's page, but it doens't mention American citizenship, and I couldn't easily confirm. https://fcaugsburg.de/wns/teams/u19/ https://fcaugsburg.de/wns/2017/11/06/wichtige-pflichtspielsiege-fuer-die-u19-und-u15/
Now listed on their U19s. https://www.fcingolstadt.de/nachwuchs/jugendteams/u-19-bayernliga/ German-born, according to T-Markt. https://www.transfermarkt.de/gabriel-weiss/profil/spieler/420824
Soccer Talents says a Germany-based '02 named Clinton Williams is American. http://www.soccer-talents.com/Emmanuel_Clinton_Williams-3_7-97690-12.html He seems to now be with Hombrucher after leaving VfL Bochum. https://www.fupa.net/spieler/clinton-emmanuel-williams-373269.html
Soccerway says Aston Villa U18 forward Dimitri Sea is an American. I think it's probably a database mistake, but I thought I'd log it just in case. http://us.soccerway.com/players/dimitri-sea/509162/ He joined Villa from a French club and I can't find any trace of American background or how he might be eligible for citizenship. Some background here: http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ews/aston-villa-forward-dimitri-sea--13382747
A '90 named Manolino (or, less colloquially, Manuel Domínguez Queiruga), currently at CF Noia in Spain, is American-born according to TFB. https://www.thefinalball.com/player.php?id=441502&epoca_id=0&search=1 http://cfnoia.es/
T'Markt has a '97 named Michael Chojnicki at a lower-division Polish club they say is American-born. https://www.transfermarkt.com/michael-chojnicki/transfers/spieler/526215 That page links him to a Liverpool-affiliated program (not technically LFC) that sent a team to the Dallas Cup. Which does, in fact, appear to be a thing: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/215300-lfc-foundation-college-shines-at-dallas-cup
This is probably "real," but since I'm not 100% I'll leave it here for now: This fall, a '96 named Dominik Ochal joined JKS Jaroslaw in Poland (from another Polish club): http://www.jksjaroslaw.info/index.php/2017/08/17/jks-wypozyczyl-obronce/ Both Transfermarkt and the (often reliable) 90minut have him as born in Chicago. (T'Markt also says he's on loan). He has some first-team appearances this season for the club. http://www.90minut.pl/kariera.php?id=33542 https://www.transfermarkt.com/dominik-ochal/profil/spieler/527627
I came across this article which claims Jonathan Bond, former Wales and England youth international, is eligible for the United States through his parents. No other source on this; it could well be a mistake. Bond currently starts in goal for Peterborough in League One. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10600674.Bond_called_up_to_England_Under_21s_squad/
No idea. The same paper made the same claim in 2012 -- different author, though. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9469329.display/
I've seen Harrison Delbridge, who recently signed with Melbourne City after a couple of seasons in Cincinnati, called Australian-American in some places. I don't know if that's true, though he had lived in the States since he was about 10 after being born in Australia.
Transfermarkt says Herediano has a '99 named Mauricio Solis who is Costa Rican-American. I haven't been able to quickly confirm, but if true, it seems like that he's the son of former CR MNT player Mauricio Solis Sr., who was playing for MLS San Jose at the time Jr. was apparently born.
Soccerway says a '97 named Mattias Totland who was in Norway's lower-divisions this past season is American-born. https://us.soccerway.com/players/mattias-totland/316323/ A guy who is probably the same person played with Norway's U18s against ours in 2014. https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...18-mnt-vs-nor-lisbon-international-tournament
Soccerway says a '99 named Yusuf Sahin with the U21s of a Turkish second-division team is American-born. https://us.soccerway.com/players/yusuf-muhammed-said--ahin/497876/ Other sites say the same thing. He may have been there last season, too.
USA Prospects on Twitter (Joey on BigSoccer) says '99 David Marvin Gerber, captain for Bonner SC A-Juniors, is a Yank. FuPa: https://www.fupa.net/spieler/david-marvin-gerber-532132.html
Marcel had a pretty good 1/2 of the season at Mainz II - he has now moved up to 3Liga with FC Magdeburg Time for Marcel to get his own Thread
Already done! https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/marcel-costly-at-fsv-mainz.2070115/ Apparently some guy using your screen name already found it and posted in it back in November.
