It's ok, it'll come back. I've been busy with all this crypto shit lately. I put $500 on one called TRX - 700% return in one week. Craziness. What are you guys all up to this holiday season?
Good for you bud. I wish i had gone for bitcoin back when it started..Thought about it hard but ended up not going for it. Nowadays there's so many crypto currencies wouldn't even know which one to go for...Oh well..I'm mostly going to invest into real estate in the next year as it's by far the safest choice(heck even at worst of times it seems that way). Mostly with the family this month, relaxing and all. Hope all is good with you guys. Happy holidays.
I invested $1000 in Litecoin to get going as I missed the train on Bitcoin. I used Coinbase (iOS app) to make the purchase which offers Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin as the three cryptocurrencies available for purchase.
Coinbase or GDAX is where you buy them. If you're gonna buy something, start small. 100-200. If you make a thread I can guide you guys through it. Coinmarketcap.com there is a method to spotting these. Once institutional investors jump in it'll make it even easier. Bro, so many people jumping on litecoin but it's a worthless coin. The only purpose of it is to get your money into an exchange faster so that you can buy others. If you want a good steady long term hold look at ethereum, iota, LISK, eos, storj. BCH also just got listed on coinbase - it's gonna go up, too much mining power behind it. Binance - I only use binance now, excellent exchange, good variety of coins that you can trade week in week out. Last 2 weeks I've tripled my 2k investment even WITH BTC correction to 14k. Once BTC hits 20k I'll be at roughly 7.5k so almost quadrupled. Disclaimer: I do not invest in crypto if any government official reads this
BTW! if you're gonna buy TRX, be very careful this week. It is HEAVILY tied to BTC at the moment. When BTC goes up, it goes up with it. If it goes down, it goes down with it. If you think btc is gonna go up this week or next week, today or tomorrow is a good time to buy and please don't buy more than you can afford to lose. I think by next year it can easily hit 1 dollar. There are some big investors behind it.
See this is exactly the problem imo. You can find people who say that eth is going to be worthless too, how the heck can you tell who legit knows for sure? Some of those people know a lot about this stuff so hard to tell who to trust.
What can I say I've been studying this stuff for the last 5 months day in day out. Litecoin structurally serves no purpose other than to send and receive faster. (10-15 minutes faster) Ethereum is trying to build a network for future apps and projects to be built off it. So one coin is just a method of sending. The other is a network itself. Think of JavaScript or C++. You usr them to build other things. That's what ethereum is. Other competitors to eth are eos and lsk which are booming at this point.
Sounds like you did your research..Cool. I remember reading this article http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/ethereum-hack-blockchain-fork-bitcoin-1.3719009 Made me very hesitant. Later on it mentioned in another article how Russian gov't was strongly backing ethereum. Way too fishy and the fact online security is getting weaker instead of stronger..well..doesn't make me feel any better about it. I do think that technology is a good idea. Just not trusting it right now.
You gotta build up your limits per week. It's for your own good to be honest. Don't start big, start small, get in at a good price and you'll be fine. Don't make lateral movements when btc starts falling. You can lose money real quick like that. Stick with xrp for a while. Solid volume. You should have hit today's pump so don't sell.
Yo did you stick through with XRP? Shits at all time highs. If you did, watch for btc to break through 15k and sell xrp for btc momentum
That's your anchor. Take $100 put it on flash. Xtrabyes is a good one, so is link, lend and gto. Use xrp as your stabilizer meaning that if you lose on the others put back on xrp and wait. But be careful if it drops to 2.50. If it drops to 2.50 because btc lost value, don't move your money just sit tight. Never move money when btc goes up or down heavily
Seems like Tron got overhyped and is now taking a big hit... so many shitcoins to research so little time. I bought a small amount of Engima coins though, they seem to be stable. If you guys want to look at the probability of these coins actual rising in price compared to bitcoin take a look at this video.
Don't focus on that. That's how you lose money. You have two dynasties battling right now - btc and eth. Majority of erc20 tokens are experiencing a big surge while btc has lost momentum. That's why you see tron and all these others taking a hit lately. When btc goes down, the crew closest to it goes down as well. Same w eth network and erc20 tokens. Also industry market cap has lost almost 100b on average this week. That's a lot of money being taken out. Where and when it will be put back in is key.
I hope none of you have money in Intel or Amd stocks. This "Meltdown" and "Spectre" security issues are making many panic so they're currently taking big hits. If you bought a computer, tablet, mobile phone in the last 10 years you are affected. It's the processors that are affected so it doesn't matter if you are on a mac either. The updates that microsoft is pushing may significantly slow down your pc.
