Still injured? He wasn't on the bench today. Will he recover in time for the NT friendlies?

I suspect Metz will be relegated.

What is likely to happen with Kawashimas career after that?

Will he play for another french time like when he jumped from Lierse or Standard Liege.

Because I do not see anyone who can be the JNT goalkeeper other than Kawashima, rest do not have the European experience that he does.

I still hope WC 2018 will be his last tournament with JNT.
We need to move on, even if he's still good.

Kind of agree. Sad to say. I also have a feeling he is going home to Japan after this.

    J. League would benefit having him home.
Japanese GKs are not so good. Look how many KOR GKs there are in J1.

Asians are smaller on average compared to other races, especially east and pacific Asians.

    So that does not help.

I think Japanese, Koreans e.t.c will always have deficiency and disadvantage in terms of quality and choice in the Goalkeeping position forever and ever unless somehow genetics change. Japanese even more so because I think they are smaller than Koreans.
