I heard that the third kit to be released later this season will be Black. Good thing our summer games start at 8
I'm tired of clubs trying to force black into the uni designs. That's getting so old. I want to see something kind of like the 2014 3rd kit. Cincinnati's black kits were completely uninspiring.
I'm guessing Ochoa was asked what he'd like to see in a new kit and the response was: something slimming.
I don't care about it being trendy or overdone, it's simply functionally a stupid idea. Why use a color that absorbs heat when you already play somewhere that regularly hits triple digits in the summer?

Looks like it's the 2016 models on sale, with the old UCD Children's hospital sponsor. I haven't been "wowed" yet by our jersey styles. I like the Nike design better, but with they'd kept the color from the Lotto kits. When you see them side by side, the Lotto maroon is more distinctive. I hate the Nike away kit. If they'd added just a hint of maroon, maybe the neck and sleeve collars, would have made them so much better. I was told they had a new third kit planned for this summer. I've been out of the loop with my birdies for a while, so don't know what the status is
They need to dump the grey out of the kits and go back to Old Glory Red and Old Gold...and bring back that G-D Sash!

Not for me either, but I will give SRFC credit - they have a HUGE variety of art styles available in their merch. And I like how they reach out to the local artists for these designs.....keeping the S in the RFC.

Might have been a rerun, cuz they have lived just east of Sacramento for at least a year. She makes that xcountry trip to NY and back every weekend. When I was 25 and single, a job with that travel and lifestyle would have appealed to me. I can't imagine how she keeps it together doing it in her late 30's and trying to raise a family.
