Modric is going to bone Argentina's midfield hard.

Well, we will likely face Portugal or Spain in the QF... That is of course we get that far.

Group A, B, and G are an absolute joke.

BTW, can you imagine if Brazil or Germany do not finish first in their group and one of them finishes second? They could play each other in the round of 16.

Not a cakewalk group but could've been worse. This draw is weird in that I don't see a real group of death, just ones where 2nd place might be tough to predict.

We definitely need to have our game sorted out if we're going to advance. Each team can test us in a different way. Iceland will be tough to crack offensively, Croatia will be strong in midfield, and we already know how Nigeria can attack.

Well, we better hope that we win our group and France win's theirs or we will face each other in the r16.

If things go the way that the footballing god's see as the best teams, meaning each powerhouse team wins their group, it will go something like this...

    Denmark R16
    Spain QF
    SF-Germany

NA time zones are an afterthought in WC scheduling.

It's always been early morning World Cups, with Brazil being a rarity.

    If Germany wins their group.

    Switzerland in the R16
QF, They'll play the winner of Colombia-England/Belgium.

But as I said, if either Brasil or Germany manage to slip to second and the other wins their group, they'll play each other in the R16. Ideally, we'd want to win our group, and have Brasil finish first and Germany second. That would push them on the other side of the bracket, which will place France(Winner), Brasil(Winner), Germany(Runner-Up), Spain/Portugal(Runner Up), Belgium(Winner) on the same side of the bracket... I think...

Favorable draw , not the easiest group since Nigeria and Croatia are a strong team but we avoid Spain and England.

Lets face it, we all knew there's always 90% chance Nigeria would be in the group with Argentina... even at youth level, we kept facing Nigeria in the final... 1996, 2005, 2008... there's no science that can explain this.

Whatever team or group were drawn in doesn’t matter to me. If you plan on being a world champion then you better be prepared to beat anyone at any cost and that should be the team’s mentality.

Sampaoli hasn’t convinced me yet in his 8 game tenure so hopefully he can turn the ship around before its too late.
