both played a full 90 minutes this last weekend so are they fainting injury? Player revolt might be the best way of getting rid of Jones(since poor showings don;t seem to do it for the DFB, lol)
Poor showings have got to the DFB, just way too late Seriously I hope France line up with everything they have heh
Even if the overly cautious think tank within the DFB hasn't been willing to step in a provide the girls with a genuine system renovation, I still can't imagine them willing to lose heavily in the slim hope it forces future decisions to be made quicker, or better... The program's coaching may not have been the most professional for a long time now, but I don't think the girls intentionally trying to lose will do anybody any good. Prior to seeing 2018, the DFB should be asking a number of key figures within this program to move on, and this no matter the final result of this up coming friendly.
anymore updates? btw...........despite the injuries(or is it desertions? lol) I think Germany can still win, but Jones needs to drastically change her style & get away from the short passing possession game/keep her defenders more grounded/stop playing it from the back & absolutely stop cramping the attacking part with players(more like switch to Huth take on the often napping Renard, 1v1, but for that, she'll need space) Just last weekend, Essen looked disastrous using some of those same tactic, but they barely got to move up field(as WOB's quicker players picked the ball off their passing lanes) not sure exactly what to expect from France; last friendly out; their new coach used an experimental lineup, but it was good enough to beat a veteran English squad. Remember too, she coached previously a men's pro club, so she will surely want her players to pick up the pace(as compared to more Jones coaches, the more slower the team seems to get, lol). it's going to be bigger than an friendly, Low only managed a draw in last week's friendly with France men's NT,so bragging rights will pit even more pressure for Jones to win............
Hmmm, your thinking about this way too hard. Win or lose, this is the only thing which should be happening to a few key names within this program...
here's several statements by Jones, who promises.."different body language" for the up coming game https://www.dfb.de/news/detail/jone...ache=1&cHash=b408084e1af1ef204d6c29c3094e52dd and for I guess trouble makers, she writes "We have a clear policy of not taking troubled players, and if they are, then send them home" how's that been working out for ya? Stefi. lol
She talks about the defense before every damn game that it has to get better but she doesn't even manage to bench Blässe and Peter in order to accomplish that lol And how she didn't bother to call up any subs after 4 of her players being ruled out of the game is for me a mystery lol.. I fear that Gössling's NT career is done if Steffi continues... how's even the midfield gonna look tomorrow with so many players not available?
here's another article that squares the importance of winning the game for Jones to keep her job. Seems like Popp is pro Stefi, which is unusual since Goesling is her team mate at WOB. It does mentioned the Lena rift, but nothing abouts the other players joining her bandwagon(against Stefi), instead their out with injuries http://www.sportschau.de/fussball/f...dschaftsspiel-deutschland-frankreich-102.html I wouldn't be able to watch it live since I got work but here might be a possible link to the game http://programm.ard.de/Programm/Sender?sender=28106&datum=2017-11-24&sendung=28106387600639 I would say another importance is will a decent enough size crowd come out to the game? Despite it's poor Euro showing, France has had 15-20K fans show up to their recent friendlies. Canada got 23-28K in their recent games, as well as Australia at 10-24K. Holland has sold out it's home qualifiers. We'll see how many will come out to support Stefi, lol
Unsere Startelf für #GERFRA 🇩🇪🇫🇷 Schult, Hendrich, Peter, Maier, Faißt, Dallmann, Marozsan (C), Islacker, Popp, Huth, Kemme. pic.twitter.com/4CZl5JRZB0— DFB-Frauen (@DFB_Frauen) November 24, 2017 all is prepared - even calamity Kathy Hendrich out there
"The players know it's about good performances, and with her's (Gössling) performanes I was not pleased." lol
One things for sure at this point: Batfink is not watching the game but his usual posts are already prepared
and a nice goal from a freekick doesn’t mean that their game is better. Some nice fast attacks today from a French team that doesn’t even seem to care or try
