    3-0 second leg.

Goals from Acosty, Panatti and Bittante.

6-1 on aggregate. On to the semifinal where (I think) we face Juventus.

Our Allievi Nazionali capped off a great 2011 by beating the Italian U17 2-1 the other day.

Our Primavera trailed Juventus 2-0 at halftime but came back to draw 2-2 in the first leg of our Coppa Italia Primavera Semifinal home and away. Wednesday the second leg will be at the Franchi and we should be tough to get past with our two away goals.

So I was wrong. That 2-2 match the other day was just a regular Primavera championship match.

Today's match in Firenze was the first leg of the home/away and it ended 0-0. NO away goals for Juve and that's a very good thing even if we were not able to score. We had plenty of chances, though, from watching the highlights.

This is really the level to attend to, because our Serie A side is absolutely horrible. Watching those highlights at Cagliari made me want to gouge my eyes out.

Yes, our youth teams are our only joy during last 2 seasons.
Primavera boys are doing well and I really hope that they will beat Juve in leg 2 to compete with Roma in final.

Our former Primavera star, Frenchman Mathieu Lepiller, had both of Hellas' goals against Grosseto.

I tried to find our what has happened with our last year Primavera goalscoring superstars - Campionato top scorer Iemmello (19 goals) and 3rd scorer Carraro.
Looks that their career playing with adults isn't going very well.

Carraro played only ca 270 minutes for Serie B team Modena and moved to Lega Pro Divisione club Pro Vercelli yesterday. Hopefully gets lot more minutes in lower league.
Iemmello is playing in Pro Vercelli from start of the season but looks that he is midfielder now. At least he gets good minutes and hopefully will be back soon and strong enough to play for Fiorentina 1st team.

Our Primavera beat Genoa 2-0 today, goals from Baccarin and Panatti, in the quarterfinals of the Primavera Championship. We play Varese (away) in the semifinals on Saturday.

They were all great but our new DS, Daniele Prade, is not making them the priority that our former DS, Pantaleo Corvino, did. We're still very strong at all age groups but I don't think that will necessarily remain the case for long.

Our U12 just won the Tuscany Cup, beating Livorno 5-1 in the final.

The best site I know of is www.zonacalcio.org just click "risultati e classifiche" for scores and such. Hope that helps. There may be better sites but that's the one I use when I want something about other societies. Otherwise I just use fiorentina-specific sites.

That funny Ciuccio, no just trying to find my boys age group results. My son was on trial in August and just wanted to stay in touch with his age group.

I decided to bring this thread back from the dead. Deal with it.

442, a soccer magazine (I think), made a list of the 100 most promising teenagers in the world. We have two of them.

No idea why Hago isn't there. And Chiesa was a teenager until a couple weeks ago.
