The Fire should bid so they can control their own destiny there again. For YEARS, the Fire have blamed VoB for issues and this would be their time to step up and control the experience for the fans.

Parking issues? They blame the VoB. Security issues? They blame the VoB. Concessions? They blame the BoB. The list goes on and on. This one move could fix it all.

In a shockingly fast search, the Village has hired its new management team.

Speaking of which, anyone receive the "Thank you for attending" email and accompanying survey?

Five or six pages and not a single question about the team, the game, the atmosphere, etc.

It was all about parking, concessions, entrance, merchandise booths, pregame and half time crap.

I do not think this is a coincidence.

Did they attend the "Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting" on October 23, 2017 and receive the complimentary tour of the facility?

The team should just buy the stadium and control everything, but no one wants to do that.

What if Peter Wilt were to put together a company to do that? Ooooo the irony.

Frankly, though, I'm hoping he gets nominated president of the USSF.

The Fire should bid on this so they could take over the upkeep of the field itself and perhaps tend to it enough to avoid three blown out knees/legs in one season.

The village wants a company to run and manage all events at the Stadium, I don't think I want Andy managing concession for the Red Stars.

    OUCH!!!!!!

Chicago Sting (Amazon) > Chicago Fire (Andrew Hauptman)

If it was the STING, I wonder what it would take in order for this to work?

Would he (Jeff Bezos) have to pay Andrew/Brigdeview money in order to play in the city?

Isn't there some kind of rule, if a team plays in the city they have play in TOYOTA Park?

I don't think the Fire taking over these responsibilities will fix anything, and I don't think it's going to happen because it would put the Fire in a position of having no one to blame but themselves. That would be violating one of the Fire's longest standing traditions.

    Fixed your post.
I agree with the rest, in principle.

    The Fire's tradition are longer.
They have been largely discarded, disparaged and/or pissed upon, but we still remember them.
