Lewandowski with the hat trick against Denmark. 9 goals and he's your top scorer. Looks to be on his way to being top capped player as well.

Have to admit Montenegro was pretty tough. But sill two classes worse than us. Zielienski a very pleasant surprise, both wide mids (Grosik and Kuba) no good at all today, hopefully case of March blues. I am already looking forward to Russia.

Poland should take care of business the rest of the way but Denmark could get tricky at the end.

Let's hope there are no injuries, and that Milik, Blaszczykowski, Kapustka and Krychowiak can get more minutes in the upcoming season. Krychowiak should definitely go to Italy if he gets a chance, also Kapustka should move somewhere on loan, where will be able to play. Nawalka's substitutions are odd as usual though, he better get his grip on this aspect. Yesterday, I would rather give Kuba a sub with Wszolek, and Grosik with Rybus. Instead, we went for 4-3-3 for the last 20 minutes, which we haven't played since 1982 or something like that... I guess, Nawalka wanted Teo to get long balls, win headers and play them to Milik/Lewy coming from the second line, but it didn't work this way, as our defenders (Pazdan/Cionek) are not good at playing long ball, plus they didn't even attempt to do so, so we got outnumbered in Mid for the last 20 minutes.

Anyway, if there are no injuries, and our guys get enough time in their leagues, I would expect at least a semi-final in Russia. Next month we will move to 7th in FIFA rankings, and if we keep sweeping qualifiers in the fashion we currently do, we should be seeded for the draw in December. Our rightful place, like back in the 70's and 80's!

Poland-Uruguay friendly in November should be very interesting. As should be Poland-Mexico.

Suarez vs Lewandowski. Damn, I wish I had tickets to see. I wanna plan a trip to visit some friends in June. Warsaw and Zielona Gora

Poland-Uruguay is in Warsaw, while vs Mexico in Gdansk. I am looking up to these very much, hope for some interesting football. Poland will be without Milik and Piszczek, who are injured, but let's hope Nawalka tries some new, yet reasonable, alternatives.

Hopefully, in March next year Poland will play Brazil in Chorzow. This should be great as well.

Just read that Barcelona asked Uruguay that Suarez sit this game out due to nagging knee injury.

It is to be Boruc farewell game, so I expect Polish team to play under the influence, maybe even more then they did in Denmark.

Lewy may not play as well, just to give him a break and test other options, whatever they can be now (Milik injured, Teodorczyk monkeying out in Brussels)...

whose to be your number 3 guy?

Szczęsny is your number 1 and I figure Fabianksi is your no.2 right? who gets the no.3 spot for next summer?

I would rather have Fabianski as 1 and Szczesny as 2, but the hierarchy here isn't clear - Nawalka goes either or, even though he likes Szczesny more, Fabianski plays more regularly in the league, so he often has to put Fabianski, as Szczesny is a bench warmer for Juve.

Lukasz Skorupski of AS Roma would be probable number 3, and Przemyslaw Tyton of Deportivo La Coruna would be 4.

You think Szczesny knew he might risk his no.1 spot at the WC by signing to be number 2 for Juventus or did he not care? I'm sure the money and trophies might have appealed far more.

Yes, he said that he is going to Juventus understanding that he may loose no 1 for Russia, but he is doing it for further career development and for opportunity to learn from Buffon.

I hope he doesn't end up like Tomasz Kuszczak in MU...

I think he bet that Buffon will slow down noticeably (he is slowing down as was evident in the CL final) or that he injures himself, giving Szczesny the staring role.

I think the third goalkeeper will be a prospect, maybe Dragowski, but he has been quiet lately.

Good, even, average group. No team that is expected to get to the semi-finals by most. Four confederations represented with four different playing styles and mentalities. As for Poland, we are being completely ignored and not expected to even advance out of the group in most "experts" polls. Good for us. No pressure and the mofos will be sadder when we kick the living crap out of them. I am especially hoping for England in the round of 16.

i have seen most folks predict poland to finish top of the group. If Lewandowski goes Beast mode, you're destined for great things next summer.

Really? Form what I've seen most US mainstream sports media (ESPN, SI, Yahoo sports) don't see us making it out of the group; on fox one after the draw the only one that had Poland making it past group stages was Lalas, out of four or five guys. But it is not that important.

a few I saw it was Colombia in 1st place which is possible but i'd bet the house on you guys. You have a solid squad and are due to surprise.

I have you as a dark horse. Making the semi's. It'd be nice to see the likes of a Belgium or Poland or Costa Rica causing huge upsets.
