Good signing for Shabab Al Ahli

Great pace with his ball at his feet. The playmaker that was needed for the Dubai club.

I don't they can register him with the because the domestic transfer window closed on the third of October and their last move was rumored to be registering Mousa Sow (who wanted to leave the club) & pillingTomas De Vincenti out of the 1st team list maybe Chang-Jin will play will play with the reverse for now cuz there is a Brazilian player with the reverse, good thing they gave away the AFC CL spot to Al Ain cuz the club seem messy since with many players since the merge

Well, from what I know Moon was signed on loan and you still can register players if you can sign them without paying nothing (free or on loan). Shabab Al Ahli tried to sign Aias Aosman from Dresden, but the German club wanted money and the deal couldn't go through.

as you can see in the last video above, both Moon & Sow made their season debut with Shabab Al Ahli and scored in their big win the team looks better and once Ismail Al Hamadi return from injury they will become the favorite to win the league

Yes. It seems Moon was signed on free, not on loan.

Zaccheroni is new UAE football team manager
    October 17, 2017

Alberto Zaccheroni signed a contract on Monday, appointing the Italian — who led Japan to the 2011 Asian Cup crown – as the new UAE national team manager on an initial 16-month deal.

The contract will see him as coach of the UAE national team through to the conclusion of the 2019 Asian Cup, which takes place in the UAE.

There is an option to renew the deal, should the appointment prove a success. Zaccheroni, 64, succeeds Edgardo Bauza, who left last month – after being in charge for only three competitive matches – to lead Saudi Arabia’s 2018 World Cup campaign.

Zaccheroni will be presented to the media on Tuesday at the UAE Football Association. The new coach is expected to help the national team rebuild and recover from the disappointment of failing to qualify for next year’s World Cup.

The UAEFA president, Marwan Bin Ghalita has said that in Zaccheroni, the FA are convinced they have the right man for the job, particularly because of his success and experience in Asian football, particularly as former coach of the Japan national team.

The former AC Milan, Juventus, Lazio and Inter Milan manager coached Japan in 2010, guiding them to the continental title the following year — the last time they have won the trophy.

Al Ain have been excluded from next year’s Asian Champions League (AFC CL) after failing to comply with club-licencing requirements, it was announced on Monday.

Al Dhafra, Al Nasr, Al Wasl, Emirates and Sharjah were all granted a licence by the Pro League Committee’s First Instance Body, while Al Jazira and Al Wahda were only given a provisional licence.

The likes of Al Ain, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, Bani Yas, Dibba, Ittihad Kalba and Hatta, were all denied a licence.

No official reason has been given for the refusal, thought to be linked to finances, but clubs have five working days from the date of the decision to appeal.

Al Ain had failed to qualify for next year’s ACL anyway after finishing fourth in last season’s Arabian Gulf League. They were leapfrogged by Al Wahda for the ACL play-off spot after the fifth-placed league finishing side won the President’s Cup.

However, when third-placed league finishing Al Ahli — who were 2015 ACL losing finalists — merged with Shabab and Dubai Club over the summer to form Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club, they were also excluded from ACL qualification for failing to be in existence for the necessary three year requirement, meaning next placed Al Ain took their spot.

Unless Al Ain successfully appeal, Al Nasr, who finished sixth last season, and are the next ranked club to have passed club licencing, will take Al Ain’s spot in next year’s ACL.

The four clubs representing the UAE in Asia next year will then be last year’s league champions Al Jazira, second-placed Al Wasl, fifth-placed Al Wahda, who will move from a play-off to automatic spot, and sixth-placed Al Nasr, who will now assume the play-off spot.

AGL ASIA’S TOP FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW
    23/10/2017

The Arabian Gulf League remained at the top of the AFC domestic competitions rankings for the third time in a row during 2017, after the latest rankings were announced by the Asian Football Confederation on 23 October 2017.

The Arabian Gulf League bettered Asia's biggest leagues with 96.224 points, ahead of the South Korea's K-League in second place with 87.925 points, then the Chinese Super League with 87.212 points, whereas the Saudi Pro League came in fourth place with 84.55 points and the Japanese J-League in fifth with 82.788 points.

The UAE's top flight competitions has already been at the top of the AFC rankings more than once in 2017, first in February 2017 with 96.56 points, and the second one in June with 95.428 points.

His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Junaibi, Chairman of the PLC, attributed this latest achievement to the great attention that the wise UAE leadership gives to football and sport in general, indicating that this success was expected after the performances of UAE's clubs in the AFC Champions League. Al Junaibi highlighted the great coordination between UAE clubs, the UAE FA and the PLC, hoping that these efforts will continue to develop UAE football.

"The continued presence of the league at the top of the Asian rankings for the third time in a row this year is wonderful news, but what is most important is that we keep this development up, so our league can be the best in the Asian continent from all aspects", said Al Junaibi, adding, "We will continue working with our partners to achieve the best quality in terms of organizing the different PLC competitions so that our league can be at the top; helping us achieve the great vision that our leaders have set out: to be the number one in all different sectors".
