Benedetto played two games and couldn't score. The guy sucks ass. He's your idol. Meanwhile, a legend like scocco didn't get called. Btw, how did the copa argentina go for you? You lost, remember? Benedetto was a disaster. The guy sucks! Admit it! Your team and its "idol" left us our of the world cup for the first time in 48 years! I can't believe you people!!!!

Totally undeserve except Messi and Masche who has pretty much tries everything but the players around him arent simply not good enough. Especially the one upfront. Icardi offball movement is alot more dangerous and he's the one who created the goal against Venezuela.

Maybe FIFA will find some way to disqualify someone ahead of us if we finish 6th.

We can't even score a single goal. How are we supposed to beat Ecuador?

However, if we win in Ecuador somehow, we are through. No matter the results elsewhere.

We will have 28 points. Peru and Colombia play against each other, so we will leapfrog one of them if we win.

But I don't know how we will win????

Even with that, we probably not going to score with the way we play throughout this qualifier. :whistling:

AFA cant even pay Tata and security , they're going to bribe another team? lol.

Or maybe take away those 2 points from Chile, which their federation bitched about like the little HDP's that they are.

This is the same exact situation like 2010 qualifier again when we need to beat Uruguay at their home in last game and we actually did it with scrappy goal. Veron freekick deflected and someone tap that one in. We can only hope similar scenario cause I dont see how this team scoring from a teamplay.

Ecuador is eliminated, so plenty of shenanigans could occur in that game, too.

I was not very convinced by Argentina's play.
I'm not sure they'll go to Russia.
I think Argentina to rebuild a system for a more competitive national team.

We had our chances, Afar! El Pipa basically ruined our chances. This guy should've stayed in Mexico for a few more years, and ended playing for them.

Dybala and Icardi have to play the next game. Enough of Biglia, even though he wasn't that bad today. We need something different from the midfield.

If we go it's 3 and out anyway, unless we finally get some midfielders and someone who can finish.

Thanks for dropping by. I was wondering what somebody from Côte d'Ivoire thought about our play or if we were going to Russia.

No, 6th place does not qualify. It does not matter what happens between Peru-Colombia anymore. We win vs Ecuador we automatically go through. Only a win will qualify us. Well, technically, if we get a draw, and Peru loses, and if Paraguay draws at home, then we go through the play-off. But, put it this way, we have to win and then we go to Russia.

Yes , Icardi and Dybala played better against Venezuela and Icardi created our goal with his well timed run. We created great chances in first half but Sampa panicking and destroyed the team balance in second half with his sub.

Messi, Icardi and Dybala has only played together for 1 and a half game, they need more times. I'm not sure if Dybala compatible with Messi but at this situation, we just need a fresh legs and individual skills. Masche and Messi created some dangerous chances today purely from their skills and vision. Many of these guys arent WC material, that's a fact. Dybala and Icardi certainly has all the attributes to compete at highest level.

Dont think so, if Colombia win and we win, we will need play off.

Agreed. Sampaoli actually messed it up vs Venezuela with his subs. He should have started the same lineup today in retrospect. I was just expecting better performances from Acuna, papu and di Maria. Rigoni was even more useless, missed a tap in. Days like this I start to appreciate cronaldo tap ins and headers

Just a clarification. CONMEBOL goes by the teams with most wins rather than GD, right?

Yea, but we will jump over SHIIIIILAY. Chile needs a win in Brasil. That's not happening.
