Two things: 1. Those games on broadcast FOX are regional. It will depend in your market when the FOX station carries an NFL game which MLS game you will get. Here in Houston, for example, we will get the 1 pm game since the local affiliate is showing NFL in the late afternoon time slot. 2. There is a game later on Sunday that is not listed: 7 PM: Portland - Orlando, FS1

I'm pretty sure it's in the bag for the Metros. I think I'm flying to SKC tomorrow to watch someone else lift the trophy in their stadium.
1) Please tell me you count SO wins and losses as wins and losses. 2) Please tell me you count OT era wins and losses as wins and losses. Q: Which two MLS teams end every season with more league history regular season games played than all the other teams?
1) Shootouts, regardless of whether they have an effect on the standings, are draws. That's not because I discount those wins but because the Laws of the Game are very clear that shootouts are not part of the match. The match ends in a draw and then there's a shootout. 2) For games that go into extra time, regular season or otherwise, those periods are still considered part of the match and thus ET wins and losses count. A) Whichever of the original teams (minus San Jose) that were able to play their 27th game of the 2001 season before the remaining games were cancelled. Considering the source of the question, one of those teams is of course Kansas City. The other is New England.
Also worth noting that the MLS-style shootout of 1996-1999 was completely outside of the Laws of the Game. They even had to swap out referees if one of the foreign exchange refs got stuck with a shootout game because the foreigners wouldn't have known what to do. But of course, tactics in the shootout and overtime eras were different. Knowing you have a shootout or 10 additional minutes on the horizon changes the way you play. These rankings are just an statistical amusement and shouldn't be taken very seriously. They don't tell the whole story.
Games with the Unkel's always confuse me for at least 20 minutes. The anthem by Emily Keener was slow and boring. Cincy sounds decent. It's good to see soccer being noticed in Ohio.
US leads 2-0 at half. Horan has a goal and an assist. She came in as a first half sub for Rose Lavelle who got the start in her hometime coming off of an injury.
Correct. The four teams that played 27 games in the 9/11 shortened 2001 season were New England, Kansas City, Chicago, and Tampa Bay.
That just shows you how good we were before Andrew bought the team. I believe we were #1 or #2 after the 2007 season.
