Vancouver looking to overtake Seattle and Portland to move into first tonight. Canadian teams in first place in their respective conferences this late in the season. #MakeCanadaGreatAgain
Our seats afforded us a terrific view of his side of the field in the second half. I concede that defending when down two men is not easy, but he was really, really poor.
What I'm really enjoying about the Western standings right now is that not only is Cascadia 1-2-3 but California is shut out of the playoffs.
Alphonso Davies seems to be regressing over the last month or so. I'm impressed with Vancouver's depth. Don't think they'll find much success in the playoffs, though.

I'm reminded of an amusing anecdote: While I was teaching at an inner-city high school, I started a soccer team. None of the players had any idea what soccer was - never seen a game; even the asst principal thought the games were in the gym. So our first season we were losing games 7-0; 10-0; etc. But everybody at school was patting us on the back telling us, "that's good, not bad at all, it's your first season" etc. Then one game we lost 2-1 and everybody was saying "2-1?............How much does a goal count?"
Technically, the relevant passage says "denies a goal or obvious goal scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball."
