KMJ should definitely start against Uzbeks, agreed.

KYK should quit footballing altogether and work at a PC Bang.

Subbing in Lee Dong-gook much earlier would've and should've been the liable option/made much more sense, but since Shin Tae-yong decided to sub in Kim Ju-young for god knows what reason, it was a waste of substitution and instead should've used Lee Keun-ho.

STY should have made substitutions earlier and should have made substitutions that would have allowed us to keep up our high pace, which was giving Iran some issues in the first half. We did alright in the 1st half but ran into issues as our guys got tired and slowed down. It wasn't the best call to sub in KSW, LDG, and KJY imo.

There was also not enough buildup through the midfield and not enough smart passing - which I believe contributed to our guys tiring and playing worse in the 2nd half. Midfield three wasn't great today. I was happy to see us trying to play more direct and quickly but the team needs more offensive balance with some buildup thrown in there. There was no emphasis on that at all today - which is a shame since good, patient passing is what kills 10-men teams. Quicker play is a move in the right direction imo but what's more important is being able to play a versatile and well-balanced offensive game.

The only players that looked decent were KJC, KMJ and KCH...the others were awful.

Needless to say, that no one should get an higher note than 6,5/10.

From Rio to the u20 world cup, yet people still support him...
If we qualify I think we should get Pinto. He's pretty good at getting an underdog team into a decent team. We'll be the biggest underdog in any group if we qualify.

actually true. the other guy confused me for a second when he said syria has to score 10 goals.

if south korea vs uzbekistan is 0-0, then korea would have GD of 1. in this case a 1-0 win for syria against Iran would put syria at a GD of 2. so wow even a 1-0 win for syria could be enough.

if i was korea i would be scared actually. i mean it IS possible for syria to beat iran 1-0 even if we try to beat them. CQ would want to not concede any goals against syria, and would not be too concerned about getting 3 points, so there is a small chance that syria could somehow score a goal against us. keep in mind that syria will also be playing for their life.

He's basically agreeing with you but you just don't seem to comprehend that. We all can agree that Iran should have won by more than one goal but Iran went easy on us instead of stepping on the gas pedal. Just needed to score one easy goal and it was job done.
It's no different from this game because Iran went easy on us again.

Exactly, I got misled too by the confusion. Even 1 goal win is enough for Syria as I originally stated.

Let's send Syria to World Cup baby!

omg, I have no words. Either you think all what we're saying here is related to your team (which is not the case obviously) or you're a nationalist retard. Or both.

The most important problem was that there was no support from the players on our attacking end. Passes and runs may have been made, but there was still too many Iranian defenders guarding the backline, so no way Hwang Hee-chan was going to one man army his way through. Also, whenever the players would lose the ball, there was no back up to provide cover and assist in keeping the ball and momentum alive.

we have a dilemma on our hands, make history by being the first asian team ever to not concede a single goal in the final round of qualifying, or "accidentally" lose to syria and get payback on skorea for 2010.:D

i know he was trying to compare todays game against 10 man Iran vs a "relaxed Iran vs a crappy south korea" in the previous match, but if you think about it, his logic is the faulty one. just think about it. the performance of every team is relative to their opponent, so his logic makes no sense. it is an invalid comparison. his word choice also unnecessarily downplayed Irans 1-0 win by calling it a "soft goal" when in fact we dominated that match and deserved to win 3-0.

It was pretty self explanatory yet you failed to see the guideline was as easy as abc and 123. Please come back when you've improved your comprehension skills bud.

yeah you can add that too. But imo there is not "that" much better material. We just have the worst pool since long time.

Our attackers were just bad. I also don't think STY knows how to use SHM. Why is he playing so deep for example?

Also HHC is short yet he plays like an island. He didn't play well but I can't blame him.

Agreed but his roster call up is worse than anything from Uli. Also.. why I constantly defend guys like Ji DW (as far as when it comes to KNT). Shin TY didn't need to call up guys who are worse & well.. can barely move.

edit - btw, I haven't seen the game yet but that starting XI? What was the point of calling up local based players early if the majority of the starting XI will be players from EU & etc who are half fit?

    You,guys, are still stuck in 2010 ?

edit : Btw don't know why Iran would take the risk to undermine their run by losing for nothing if at the same time we are winning

Invalid comparison o_O? CQ fielded somewhat of an experimental lineup tonight, went down to 10-men, yet we failed to score a goal with 0 shots on target let alone. Last year, your team dominated our team (Especially in possession) barely even trying whilst we performed like utter shit, and yes Azmoun's goal was soft as he didn't need to kick it that hard let alone work our defense as much. Our performance tonight was disappointing as it was last year.

The fact that you still can't see the picture is beyond insane.

Lol trust me we won't lose to Syria in Azadi :D Even if CQ goes full experimental. I doubt our team actually cares who qualifies in 2nd especially to the point of intentionally losing a match :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
