I was not happy with the ref, but I thought it was a red as well. Doesn't mean he had a good game, many times we won the ball and the ref gave you guys dangerous set pieces.

Most Iranian fans thought it was red as well btw.

it's a mental issue as well...the team looked nervous, unlike Iran.

You guys realize that this wasn't even Iran's main team? 3 of the defensive players had 0 or 1 cap. Yet you couldn't even creat one chance, not even one shot on goal. It's safe to say, Korea is just not an elite Asian team anymore.

Next week, not only you have to worry about your own match against Uzbekistan , but you have to keep an eye on Iran-Syria match, because who knows, CQ may just decide to start 11 players with 0 or 1 caps this time. ;)

guarenteed if LSW plays against Uzbekistan, he'll score a goal lol jkjk.
But some positive: JHS I thought played well. CCS hustled a lot in the first half. It was nice to see.

if saeed didnt get the red card today and we scored, and then you guys drew uzbekistan, we could have sent syria to WC with a 0-1 loss lol.

there is actually a more likely chance of syria going to playoffs vs group b now than uzbekistan. it would be highly unlikely for them to beat the group b opponent though, but even if they do, it would be even more unlikely for them to beat the CONCACAF opponent.

i think our korean players are intimidated by middle eastern players tbh. at times, we play scared against them and with a weaker vigor than against china and japan.

i don't doubt the KNT players' quality because we've seen what they can be capable of, but the team isn't on the same bandwidth in critical moments. the few times we get in a good position, there's poor execution (bad cross, pass to area of box where there is no KNT players, poorly weighted passes), which i attribute to the mental side of the game. these guys need to get blown by ME women

I think you will beat Uzbekistan playing like this though. And you only need a draw

why are you focusing on that goal though? we had other chances to score. you didnt have a single chance in that game, and we dominated every aspect of the game. you were lucky it was only 1-0.

Iran has conceded 0 fkcing goals in this group. Wich is fantastic. But Korea needs 3 man advantage to score. Scary situation now.

Uzbekistan-Korea is do or die for both sides. They BOTH need a win. Because if Korea draws, and Syria wins in Tehran, Syria will qualify to World Cup with Iran.

It's sad because Syria won't beat Saudi Arabia. I would prefer Uzbeks or Korea in playoffs so that they can win

indeed! it looks like like korea will qualify directly and syria would play saudi and lose. then hopefully saudi loses to CONCACAF.

i thought that too but its not true. if korea draws they will get 15 points and have higher GD than syria.

syria would need to beat iran by many goals to have a chance at direct qualification.

but if saeed didnt get the red card and we scored today, then that would be true.

Are you literally stupid or do you have some serious comprehension problems? Your team barely even pulled a muscle and won, heck your entire defense especially could've had a fcuking picnic and we still wouldn't have scored shit, that's how bad we played. The fcuk is that so hard to understand? performance-wise, us drawing vs 10-man Iran tonight is no different from when we lost to your team 1-0 last year.

I also thought KMJ played decent for a guy that just debuted in an important match, playing for a very disorganized team and not so confident defensive teammate.
He made some mistakes but I thought he was pretty solid.

STY was like a deer caught in headlights tonight. Such gutless, scared and cowardly decision making... He got schooled by CQ.

Everyone could see LJS "struggle". And by struggle, I mean play like a U10 child who likes chasing shiny objects. We played against 10 men for 30 minutes. And yet STY doesn't have the nerves to throw on an attacker right away for LJS within 5 minutes of the red card. Instead, just like he did in RIO, he dwaddles, hoping that his initial tactics might play out.

And when China scored against the Uzbeks, it didn't matter if we won or lost from a table/points perspective. He should have thrown on LDG and YKH/LKH immediately. What does the scarecrow do? Substitute a defender, like for like. Seriously?

SERIOUSLY??? From the drastic improvement in the players' efforts, it's obvious that Shitlike should have been sacked months ago. But the selection of STY is just disasterous. You'd think he would have learned just a tiny little lesson in Rio. Sadly, no. He's still lacking balls.

lol nice logic there. "korea played so bad that it doesnt count that Iran dominated us." the bottom line is that we dominated you that game and deserved to win by more than 1-0. so you making it seem like we won by a soft goal is inaccurate.

listen man i know you are frustrated right now with your team but you dont need to take it out on me!

2-0 win or any two goal margin for Syria will be enough. Or even a 4-3 win or higher one-goal margin.
