If you held it at giants stadium with reasonable ticket prices $25-150 then yes I think it could sell out almost.
That's same thing when Mexico plays USA in Columbus but it seems like it's easier to get tickets for that then this. Maybe closer to game ticket exchange on Outlaws will be available when they announce the sections
Sammers SC has announced the location of their night before party as Jack Demsey's. Details and RSVP at the Facebook link below. https://www.facebook.com/events/108..._t=plan_user_joined¬if_id=1501845112468861

got my tix (at least the section assigned). Sect 105....will be rocking it with the Sammers. can't wait. 3 weeks away, and the more i think about it, the more massive this game is. We need 3 points so that the away Honduras game isn't a do or die type of environment.
Will there be any sort of taigate atmosphere at RBA? Or is it a metro in and go to the game type of place. Driving in so hoping we can show up early and tailgate. Tried to google but got a mixed bag of conflicting info or dated info.
AO will definitely have a pregame tailgate around the stadium with their typical march in. Details to be released soon. I can't speak to the normal atmostphere before the game but can't imagine that there isn't quite a bit of activity (drinking) in the lot.
Alternative to a tailgate you could hit the bars over the bridge in Newark. They all have good reasonably priced food, and you can't miss the quart take out containers of sangria. I just hope they are better prepared for the influx of people than they were at the WC sendoff game.
Hey all- Looking to get some friends into our section for this match. Looking for a pair of 102s if anyone has extras. Happy to toss in some good beer for your troubles!
AO Tailgate info: September 01, 2017 Riverfront Park, Newark, NJ (near the "Orange Sticks" art installation) 726 Raymond Blvd, Newark, NJ07105 1-5pm ET March: 5pm ET
Can't wait for Friday. Question, however I've been outvoted and we are driving ( the cheap bastards ). I hear parking is a mess but I also hear you can park at various close train stations and take a short train ride. I'm coming from Philadelphia area, what's our best option and how bad is the actual stadium parking ?
Are these tailgates open to non-AO members? Also, do they sell food and beer or is everything bring your own?
There will be no way of knowing if you are or aren't an AO member. The tailgates I've been to have food/beverage on a donation system.
Look up stations that get you to Newark Penn Station. I'd give Hamilton a try since that usually has a lot of parking and not super far from Philly.
except for some exclusive ones where we had to pay to get in (like Mexico City) I've never heard of an AO tailgater being "AO Only", in fact just the opposite, everyone is welcome. We don't have an AO ID card or anything, so how would they know anyway? They're almost always completely open, there are no fences or gates, just a big group of people in one area of the parking lot. Just walk over and join in.
yeah makes sense-why would AO want to limit it anyway?. They wouldn't. Not sure why I thought it was AO only.
100% open to everyone. Usually free food and sometimes free beer. But BYO if you don't want to stand in line. And..... wouldn't hurt to pony up 25 bucks/year to be a member... but 0 obligation to do so.
The walk is pretty east from Penn Station, and don't let Newark's reputation discourage you. The walk from Penn take you through the Ironbound, which is both safe and full of some excellent Portuguese, Spanish and Brazilian food if you're looking for a quick snack.
