Turbine Potsdam tied CL finalists, PSG, 1-1, yesterday. You'll think there be highlights of the match, WRONG! can't find any. Maybe this Wedenesday when they take on the world famous brand name, Arsenal. I found this full length game however as they take on an obscure Austrian team from a couple of weeks back. There's no announcers & no crowd, but at least some pretty scenery.

below at least you could match the jersey @ with the name. The one newbie for TP is the Swede, Ilestedt. She's got a lot in common with Elsig; they're both statuesque blonds, play at CB, & didn't get chosen by their NT's for the Euros.

    but Elsig's better then Ilestedt

that said I read they looked pretty solid together so that's good for Postdam

here's highlights of Wolfsburg taken on the same Austrian team

later on today, Turbine Potsdam takes on Arsenal. I guess based on how much coverage that game gets we'll finally know if that sleeping giant of German male soccer fans have finally woken up!

sorry, not even highlights were made of this game, which was won by TP, 3-0. Perhaps better luck for today's WOB/Chelsea ?
could of been the B teams instead. Here were TP's goal scorers
    1) Cramer
    2) Ehegotz
    3) Kiwic

here are highlights of the Wolfsburg/Chelsea game. Seemed like Chelsea was using their premier players. Harder was missing due the the UEFA awards that same day

Gössling as CB? Because she's still not 100% fit or because the Wolfsburg trainer plans to use her there??

is Wensing on the bench now tho? That's great

not sure why you think Wensing is an impressive player? If I recall back in 2013 Euros, Neid started Jeni Cramer in front of Wensing at left FB, & Cramer proved to be very average anyways.

btw;;;;;;;;;;opening game is only one week and yet we still don't have a new threat for the upcoming season & perhaps even more disturbing......the dfb site as of yet hasn't announced any stream of scheduled games!

haven't said she's impressive, but i see potential in her to become a great CB (but very unfortunate with her injuries).

I'm excited for the new season, Wolsburg or Bayern?? outsiders are Potsdam and Freiburg

Wolfsburg & Bayern have enough to fill out two teams. So they'll usual end up taking the lead towards the end of the season due to attrition(aka, injuries to other teams)

I like to see Essen do well, they've got the more athletic, faster paced style players like Schuller & Ayomi. But their still teens & Essen isn't deep. Hence, they'll suffer if injuries mount.

Freiburg be interesting too if Julia Simic can inspire Freiburg to even greater heights. I remember 3 seasons ago where she was playing like the league's MVP at AM in the fall for Potsdam, only to be bought off by WOB in mid season, and stuck as a sub for the remainder. We'll see if she can home in her skills once again[/QUOTE]

Bayern Munich beats Chelsea, 3-0. As usual, no highlights to be found but this was their starting lineup, Looks like Zinsberger is now the starting GK over the previous long running Korpela. No Behringer to be found(might be a good thing!). Demann been made captain
