Considering the risk that he may not be fit, his poor play in Panama, his age, and his combative comments about the team, I predict Bruce leaves him home.

So who else is out for potential WCQ callups this fall...

    Yedlin - Hamstring
    Saief - Hernia surgery
Brooks - Torn tendon in thigh

    Am I missing anybody else?

Lletget would be a fringe player that is also out.

I wouldn't call him a fringe player when he started the 1st qualifier under Bruce and the only one he was available for. That's an a-teamer.

Saief just came off the bench in a friendly.

    Omar Gonezalez too, no?

We don't know were Saief is in the pecking order, because he was injured before the GC started. Maybe he would of played a lot or maybe very little. We just don't know.

    What is Omar's injury?

Any word on Lletget's recovery? I thought the initial timeline was ~6 months, and the injury happened in March.

Sure, but I was just stating a fact.

Everything that I've seen about Omar's injury has been....that it's an injury. They're even more hush than in Europe.

The initial timeline was even 4-6 months, so he could have been back by now, but he needed a 2nd surgery within the last month or two, so there was an aggravation somewhere along the line. I guess Becky G's witchcraft backfired. He said on June 14th it would be a long time until he returned. There have been no comments about his status since, so still must be a ways away, and with the aggravation who knows if he'll return the same. The 2nd one is usually the one that changes you.

    That is probably true.

It is worth acknowledging though that there is a chance he might have not started or even played if Fab did not leave camp with the injury.

I heard Zardes is suffering from brickfootitis but can't confirm if he'll miss time or not.
