OK here we go - this one looks promising - Today a YA joined Jon-Paul Pittman on the Torquay squad in a friendly against Bristol City.

Andrew Booth (age 19) shows a YA - Transfermarkt has a Andrew Booth at South Florida Surf, (a PDL team) same name / same age .....any one got more on this guy?????? He might need his own thread!!

How on Earth did you get to his Transfermarkt page without first finding the page that says he was born in Florida? It's literally the top Google result for "Andrew Booth soccer." ;)

Congrats and well spotted! Start the thread!

Google tends to be my last ditch search for players - or if I need to confirm nationality - in this case Transfermarkt and 1 other site had him as YA.....I have started the thread on your advice :)

    @ChuckMe92 @Dave Marino-Nachison @CreightonMCFCjoey, @Balerion, @anyone who would know,

do we have any indication that Alejandro Iturbe Encabo ('03 GK at Atletico Madrid) is definitely US eligible?

I was reading a player by player review of Atletico's youth teams on one of their forums, and he got an excellent review. Supposedly had some injuries last season, but is one of the academies best GK's, if not the best.

I believe the only place online which says he is eligible is OWTY's site, which is typically reliable though not an official or definite source.

This story on the signing appears to say he spent half a year in the U.S., though it doesn't go into detail as to why. (We did see the previous reports of lower-division tryouts, however.) I've seen it written that he was born in Germany, so he would most likely be American through parentage.

EDIT: It looks like at least some of that info came from 93's own site.

I happened to see this image on the BigSoccer MX boards. It seems to indicate three other Yanks who are Alianza de Futbol products besides Edwin Lara are with Pachuca U20s: Christopher Bermudez of Union City, NJ, Salvador Martinez of Mission, TX, and Carlos Vargas of Greeley, CO.

I can't find official LigaMX profiles for those three, though I did find these tweets for Bermudez:

Those three are presumably Yanks, but I can't find official confirmation they are at Pachuca. Anyone else is welcome to search them and find something I may have missed.

The funny thing about Bermudez is that he shows a US & a Colombia flag in Twitter bio. No Mexican flag, making it a much tougher path for him to play in Liga MX.

Just need some confirmation of (my) detective work.

I have a YA (acad) Phil Peter Five, playing at Nybro IF in Sweden's 2nd Division. https://www.laget.se/NYBROIFA/Troop/1888793/Phil-Peter-Fives - There is no Transfermarkt report, precious little via Google although the name is unique enough, that I think he is out of the Indiana Hoosiers program (last played with them 2016) http://iuhoosiers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7896&path=msoc the picture kinda looks alike.....

If anyone has any info etc. or can at least confirm I would appreciate it.

BTW, there would be 2 YA if this pans, Sterling Hancock (who has a YA thread) is also at Nybro IF

T'Markt lists a guy named Victor Tarwo as with a Germany lower-division club called BTS Neustadt. Could be.

    https://www.transfermarkt.com/victor-tarwo/profil/spieler/526065

Can't find much out about him quickly, though a guy with that name shows up in what appears to be a past preseason roundup for an amateur league in the States. Man, nobody did one of those on my leagues when I was playing amateur ball!

    Good thing, too.

His PDL club's site lists him as American, so I'd say that's good enough unless someone comes along and contradicts that with good info.
