OK here we go - this one looks promising - Today a YA joined Jon-Paul Pittman on the Torquay squad in a friendly against Bristol City. Andrew Booth (age 19) shows a YA - Transfermarkt has a Andrew Booth at South Florida Surf, (a PDL team) same name / same age .....any one got more on this guy?????? He might need his own thread!!
How on Earth did you get to his Transfermarkt page without first finding the page that says he was born in Florida? It's literally the top Google result for "Andrew Booth soccer." Congrats and well spotted! Start the thread!
Google tends to be my last ditch search for players - or if I need to confirm nationality - in this case Transfermarkt and 1 other site had him as YA.....I have started the thread on your advice
T'markt says an American-born '99 named Anes Mehmeti was with the U19s of SV Horchheim and has played for Kosovo. https://www.transfermarkt.com/anes-mehmeti/profil/spieler/512125 He was interviewed for a newspaper story about soccer in St. Louis a few years back, so he has definitely lived there. http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/...cle_2e1d88a6-6e33-5dcc-a873-66de10281a48.html
T'markt lists an '02 named Maximilian Dietz as a Germerican newcomer with Freiburg's U17s. https://www.transfermarkt.com/maximilian-dietz/profil/spieler/515964 He was with FSV Frankfurt's U15s last season. FuPa seems to think he is still there. http://www.fsv-frankfurt.de/cms/index.php?id=153 http://www.fupa.net/spieler/maximilian-dietz-912075.html
T'Markt says an '03 named Kirill Antonov, of Estonian club Harju, was born in the States. https://www.transfermarkt.com/kirill-aleksandr-antonov/profil/spieler/488284 http://turniir.ee/triobet-aastaloputurniir/players/10023
@ChuckMe92 @Dave Marino-Nachison @CreightonMCFCjoey, @Balerion, @anyone who would know, do we have any indication that Alejandro Iturbe Encabo ('03 GK at Atletico Madrid) is definitely US eligible? I was reading a player by player review of Atletico's youth teams on one of their forums, and he got an excellent review. Supposedly had some injuries last season, but is one of the academies best GK's, if not the best.
I believe the only place online which says he is eligible is OWTY's site, which is typically reliable though not an official or definite source.
This story on the signing appears to say he spent half a year in the U.S., though it doesn't go into detail as to why. (We did see the previous reports of lower-division tryouts, however.) I've seen it written that he was born in Germany, so he would most likely be American through parentage. http://www.fussifreunde.de/artikel/ex-werderaner-zum-afc/ EDIT: It looks like at least some of that info came from 93's own site. http://www.altona93.de/News.html
I happened to see this image on the BigSoccer MX boards. It seems to indicate three other Yanks who are Alianza de Futbol products besides Edwin Lara are with Pachuca U20s: Christopher Bermudez of Union City, NJ, Salvador Martinez of Mission, TX, and Carlos Vargas of Greeley, CO. I can't find official LigaMX profiles for those three, though I did find these tweets for Bermudez: #OrgulloAlianzaDe NJ a Pachuca ✈️⚽️Gracias a @POWERADE Sueño Alianza, Christopher Bermúdez, cumple su sueño con @Tuzos#somosJUGOtv pic.twitter.com/obSPLU4le0— JUGOtv (@JUGO_tv) May 18, 2017 Coming for everything they said I couldn't have.. // Vengo por todo que dijeron que no podía tener.. 🔝 pic.twitter.com/ZZncJIz8C0— Chris Bermudez (@chrisbermudez_) July 31, 2017 Those three are presumably Yanks, but I can't find official confirmation they are at Pachuca. Anyone else is welcome to search them and find something I may have missed.
The funny thing about Bermudez is that he shows a US & a Colombia flag in Twitter bio. No Mexican flag, making it a much tougher path for him to play in Liga MX.
Just need some confirmation of (my) detective work. I have a YA (acad) Phil Peter Five, playing at Nybro IF in Sweden's 2nd Division. https://www.laget.se/NYBROIFA/Troop/1888793/Phil-Peter-Fives - There is no Transfermarkt report, precious little via Google although the name is unique enough, that I think he is out of the Indiana Hoosiers program (last played with them 2016) http://iuhoosiers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7896&path=msoc the picture kinda looks alike..... If anyone has any info etc. or can at least confirm I would appreciate it. BTW, there would be 2 YA if this pans, Sterling Hancock (who has a YA thread) is also at Nybro IF
parents are Michael and Edmonda Fives ... has four brothers (Michael, Thomas, Kevin and Patrick) The Fives had **5** sons?
FuPa now has him at Viktoria Berlin. https://www.fupa.net/spieler/benyas-solomon-junge-abiol-1123659.html
T'Markt lists a guy named Victor Tarwo as with a Germany lower-division club called BTS Neustadt. Could be. https://www.transfermarkt.com/victor-tarwo/profil/spieler/526065 Can't find much out about him quickly, though a guy with that name shows up in what appears to be a past preseason roundup for an amateur league in the States. Man, nobody did one of those on my leagues when I was playing amateur ball! Good thing, too.
He's listed on the U17 roster page: https://www.scfreiburg.com/teams/junioren/u17/kader And the U16 page: https://www.scfreiburg.com/teams/junioren/u16/kader
T'Markt says a '98 named Jannis Celten in Germany's lower divisions was born in the U.S. FuPa doesn't mention the States. https://www.transfermarkt.com/jannis-celten/profil/spieler/513998 https://www.fupa.net/spieler/jannis-celten-756325.html T'Markt lists the specific and somewhat unusual birthplace of Alamogordo, N.M., which may be a lift from his Facebook page.
Nehemiah Perry (24yo) Born in Jamaica - some sites have him as American. According to his FB page he went to school at Broward College, Played for Miami City. Now in Malta at St Andrews Any one have any further info on Nehemiah????
His PDL club's site lists him as American, so I'd say that's good enough unless someone comes along and contradicts that with good info. https://www.fcmiamicity.com/pdl/player/nehemiah-perry/
