I think it's around 47m plus incentives if they win the league or Champions League.

    So 47m then :D

Talks about Iheanacho going to Leicester for 28M or so. Would be a great buy for them.

Even if 28M is a fair price for Ihenacho (which is reasonable), why would they need him? They already have Vardy, Slimani (on whom they just spent 30M), Musa and Okazaki (who basically plays like a striker). Are they going to line up in a 4-2-4?

One he's young and for the future. If he has a good year or two his value will go up exponentially. Two, they're gonna likely move on from Vardy and the rest aren't exactly world beaters.

So the first reason is that he might be good. OK, sure.......but he might not.

As to the second reason, they just gave Vardy a new contract, so how will they move on from him? The rest aren't world beaters, no, but they paid a lot of money for them! Leicester have a lot of holes on their roster - striker isn't it.

What you're really arguing is that Ihenacho is a good prospect. Which is true, sure. But why would going to a club with a lot of strikers make a lot of sense?

Maybe had to formulate it differently in saying that he would be a good buy for anyone in need of a striker of his qualities. That money should have been spent in different areas of their team.

But Leicester aren't in need of that striker. Their strikers are fine, it's the rest of the players that are problematic. That's my point. If the argument is Ihenacho is just a good player, he'd be a good buy for anyone, including us.

PSG was a safe move for him. He will make more money and better odds at winning more trophies and an easier league for him to play in. The move makes sense for him IMO.

Did Jose ever try going 3 at the back last season?

I came on here to post about back 3. I went to the ManU vs Galaxy game with a friend of mine and the first thing I noticed was the back 3. In the second half he had Bailly on the right and Lindelof in the middle. I must say that United look like they will be a very strong side this season. Buying numerous players the last few years is starting to add up! :)

Juve will make a desperate push for him, but you're probably right in the end :(

Barca's transfers dealings in the last few years have been baffling to me. So many players brought in who are just clearly not at their level.

Veratti, on the other hand, would be perfect for them

    That's the next JT/Rio/Sol you're talking about!

Seriously, what did he do now? Score a screamer own goal?

I know it is preseaason but those penalties were laughably bad. Both teams need to practice.

Hello all. Wasn't quite sure where to put this.

If you are interested in playing in a drafted league for Fantasy Premier League this season, check this thread out: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/all-rocks-2017-18-drafted-leagues-organizing-thread.2058514/

We need a few more managers to complete our last league. This league system has been running on BS for a very long time. It's a unique experience and a good time. Give it a look if you play FPL at all (or even if you don't but have played, say, fantasy NFL). Cheers.
