Yes he did... when he was playing a 4-2-4. In a 3-4-3 he's a good fit.

I just don't get why if Matic really wants to move away or if he's being pushed out of the club. Honestly think he could still be a very important player for the team

SkySports is reporting a rejected €88m bid for Higuain. I guess that's why we haven't been moving on Auba. Same source reporting Danilo's interned in joining the PL champions.

Also from SkySports. http://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre. If we keep screwing around with lost causes, we're going to miss out all together.

    DORTMUND FIRE AUBA WARNING

Borussia Dortmund have fired striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a warning over his uncertain future.

Speaking to German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "We have told Auba: 'If you want to move somewhere, and you have a club willing to meet our demands, then come to us and we'll talk.

"But this will only apply within a certain time window, which is slowly closing. We would clearly need to get a replacement for him, which is difficult to impossible in any event.

"We will wait for a couple more days, but not for much longer. There are no offers on the table for him so far."

All typical talk for the transfer window.

As well as Conte handled Costa during the season, he's handled the post-season stuff poorly in terms of texting (or whatever he did) Costa to say he's not part of his plans. Why shut that door. You had a pretty sure thing with Costa. You know what you're getting. Why pay 60-90m for a Lukaku or Morata who may not even be better than what you have. And in all honesty, I'm not sold on either of those options being better than Michy, who, with some confidence and minutes, could score a lot of goals for this team.

Aubemayang is an interesting option. He's got insane speed and touch and instinct, but I dont know if his (lack of) physicality is what we need.

Sure thing.... Every window he wants to leave... He's a very good player but once he's distracted he struggles. Don't need that. Ideally yes we keep and he shouldn't have shut the door but I get why he wants to move on.

Yea they did tho that could change... Still can't believe they got Ricardo Rodriguez for 17... That's fantastic and wish we'd have put an offer in.

Was it ever really confirmed that Conte told him he was out? That it wasn't just an overblown misunderstanding that Costa was using to his advantage?

Every player in 2017 has one foot out the door. That's the nature of the sport. John Terry did it every other year to up his contract. It's not just Costa.

As for struggles - every striker goes cold and hot. Every striker gets frustrated when they're not scoring. He can be dickish. Remember the guy Didier Drogba? Biggest dick ever. Flopper. But he was ours and other teams hated him. Other teams hate playing against Costa. I'd rather have him than any other striker currently on offer this window.

Yea but since he joined he seems to regret it and want to leave each window. It's a little different but I hear you. And yea every striker struggles and he's probably the best option talent and fit wise but I think it's time to move on. Morata right this second overal is the most appealing option. He provides exactly the type of striker we need in our front 3. Tho he won't be able to replicate Costa's dog like work up front he brings other things to the table. While he isn't EPL tested he did very well in Italy and Spain (even without as much PT).

Rumors out of Marca(Real's talking piece) that they want 35 million for Danilo now... I'd take it with a grain of salt but come on they can't seriously expect to turn that much of a profit off of a 25 year old who wants to leave and hasn't broken through to the 11. And his top experience is doing well with Porto.

If there is any truth to this I really hope they spoke to Luiz about it.

I swear the media just "attaches" us to any striker with double digit goals last year. It's all fake news.

Probably but there's good reason as two why... with Jesus there and his rise aguro may be the odd man out. pep wants a different type of striker. They bought a lot of attacking talent and if there gonna fit it all together someone has to go. Aguro will still fetch them decent money but they need cash in sooner than later. There was talk of discord for different parts of the season... if there is smoke... but ultimately you're right. It's the same as how Manu and Real are linked to literally every single top player.

That happens. If we want him, we have to pay. I imagine Conte is being updated. If I remember, he has issues with overpaying for talent, as well, so we all may be on the same page.

The thing with Milan - all these new players, it's hard to make a team. You can't just buy one. I suspect they may struggle to mesh on the field.
