Looks like Ronaldo's twins have arrived and it's a boy and a girl: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...his-son-amid-rumours-hes-now-father-to-twins/ It said a surrogate mother on the west coast of the US was heavily pregnant and was expecting the babies “very soon.” According to The Sun, Ronaldo's older son came from two Mexican mothers ... one egg donor, one surrogate. Everything about this story is weird. Supposedly, his Spanish girlfriend is pregnant, too.
So you could have Ronaldo's kids playing for Brazil, Mexico, USA and Spain in the 2042 World Cup semis. Not that Mexico will ever make the World Cup semis.
Remove 'Ronaldo' and the story isn't that weird. I worked with a lady who did something like that. I'm not an OB-Gyny, so I'll mainsplain it. She wanted a baby but her thingee inside wasn't working so her sister donated an egg. But she didn't want to be pregnant. So the egg was implanted in some gal who did the honors. Keeps the family genes somewhat intact, I guess.
Maybe the fertility clinic mixed up the sample and put fat Ronaldo's seed into the surrogate by mistake. Happens all the time...
No babies yet, but here's an odd coupling to watch for the future: http://people.com/tv/steve-harvey-youngest-daughter-lori-is-engaged/ Memphis Depay is engaged to Steve Harvey's step-daughter. 878766783179747330 is not a valid tweet id
The #OrangeCountySC family just grew! Congratulations to Carlos Alvarez and @RenaeCuellar10 on the birth of their baby boy, Romeo! #Family pic.twitter.com/NIWV12LW3U— Orange County SC (@orangecountysc) April 9, 2017 This one could be heavily sought after. Renae Cuellar is American-born-and-raised and plays for the Mexico women's national team. Carlos Alvarez has MLS experience and plays for Orange County SC. Guess who his younger brother is, the uncle of the newborn? None other than the best '02 in the USSDA, Efrain Alvarez, who currently leans Mexico over the US.
Is the kid eligible for Mexican citizenship though? Do we know for a fact that the grandparents are Mexican citizens and have the ability to pass it on?
Well, we know that the baby's mom is a Mexican citizen, so the kid should be eligible for Mexican citizenship at birth.
He's not the only one! Andrea Pirlo and his wife, Valentina Baldini, recently had twins!! Presumably in the US. Andrea Pirlo's girlfriend gave birth to twins & announced on her blog that they will return to Italy in December.👶👶https://t.co/snJ2JPLoOO— NYCFC Nation ⭐ (@NYCFCNation) August 9, 2017

Sometimes the players get in on the "cap 'em now" craze: BREAKING NEWS:😬@NewYorkRedBulls @MLS acquired LIAM MARTINS on a permanent deal,he is currently doing his physicals and will sign a life deal with the redbulls. He is an American citizen born on February 2018 👶🏻 his fathers first words:WELCOME MY LOVE 💙 pic.twitter.com/fCeMvyHq4H— Felipe Martins (@FeliMartins8) February 15, 2018
Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ana Ivanovic are about to have a baby in Chicago, and that kid will be USA-eligible 🇺🇸— Subscribe to GrantWahl.com (@GrantWahl) February 23, 2018
This is such a joke of a thread. The USA team should consist of players who are American in reality, not just technically. If Schweini and Ana do not stay and raise the child in America, he should play for Germany or Serbia. I wasn't against birthright citizenship until AJ switched and I realised most countries, including Germany and England, didn't give out citizenship solely by birth in the country. I'm really against it now Pirlo and now Schweinsteiger have had or are having kids with IMHO undeserved US citizenship. I believe Pirlo now lives in Italy again, so he won't be raising his child as an American, and therefore he shouldn't play for the USA IMHO. ETA: For the record, I DO consider the German-born Americans to be Americans "in reality", not just "technically", except Hurzeler. They would qualify for German citizenship had they been born and raised in the USA by the same parents. Schweini junior would not be German had he been born in Munich to an American father and a Serbian mother.
Ok. Now you make sense to me. My son is American and his wife is German, their 2 boys were born in USA but both of my grandkids have USA and German passports because of their mother.
Well that is like your opinion man....most of us here don't differentiate between "in reality" and "technically".
Yes, it’s crazy how she beat the American competing for the USA into fourth...(one with a French surname meaning neighbour...could Maggie have competed for France?!) I thought the USA would do better at freestyle skiing period, I associate “extreme “ sports with the USA and Canada more than other countries. ETA: she was born in the USA, but has a British father. Therefore she would qualify for US citizenship had it been the other way round. Schweini junior wouldn’t qualify for Germany (or Serbia) had the countries been switched.
