    Even if they trade Love and get the best case scenario (George, Davis?) does that take them over the top? I doubt it. Adding a star to the current cast might.

    How many times did your team rip off fans/viewers paying premium prices for a premium match up, only to have stars sit out or play less than normal minutes?

    That's a completely different argument to make though. One can try his best and lose.....playing better and trying your hardest are not mutually exclusive.

    I don't really know how to tackle this one so I looked up some season averages...

    Klay = 34.0mpg
    Durant = 33.4mpg
    Steph = 33.4mpg
    Draymond = 33.4

    LeBron = 37.8mpg
    Kyrie = 35.1mpg
    Love = 31.4mpg

    '97 Bulls
    Jordan = 37.7mpg
    Pippen = 36.7mpg
    Rodman = 32.6mpg

    I remember watching WGN twenty years ago and there was a commercial where this American company was in deep negotiations with a Japanese company. They're all sitting around a boardroom table when finally a junior exec goes, OK enough. Here's our final offer. And he opens up a briefcase and inside are Bulls tickets. Deal done.

    You're really gonna keep up this take? Alright I'll concede. Boo hoo to the poor fans who didn't get to see KD play 3mpg more this year like he probably would have in OKC. Meanwhile, I didn't see a single Warriors game this year and I usually try to go to at least one, even if it has to be in Staples. (although it wasn't that much more expensive this year, but next year...)

    Warriors fans are unbearable

    Nearly as bad as lebron butt huggers

    The nba imo is at its least competitive so all these comparisons to great teams who faced actual competition is mad to me

    It might not be mutually exclusive, but this team isn't trying their hardest. They're hardly being tested. Be realistic.

    You pay to watch/support your team, not to be entertained by its best players.

    But again....just b/c they haven't lost yet doesn't mean they aren't trying their hardest. It's a completely objective POV to take and one you simply can't prove (nor I can disprove). Sure, they haven't had many injuries, but that's not a reason to give a team is not trying their hardest.

    If you think I'm annoying now, hoo boy you better hope the Cavs win tonight. If not, I might have to self ban myself for a while. ;)

    Gordon Hayward rumored to be just as much into Miami as Boston. If anything can bother the Warriors it's a big like Whiteside putting it together and dominating down low. Especially if he has other weapons.

    I cant believe the only player that actually guards somehow Durant is the veteran Jefferson

    Great game all together. Not sure if Kyrie hurt his hammy or his back, but he just wasn't the same. Curry made only 2 3s and had 34....insane.

    This Warriors team is simply too much for the Cavaliers unfortunately. Love was trash. Irving was streaky. LeBron had moments of outright laziness, but put in a battling shift. Durant is the difference maker; he made things happen. He takes the Warriors from being a bit better than the Cavs to being simply a level above them.

    Also, the Warriors proved definitively that they are simply a level or two above the Cavaliers today. Even if LeBron was perfect, the Warriors still would've won. This renders the "Finals record" talking point even more bullshit than it already was IMO. It's lacking in so much context it is completely useless.

    Meh, don't know what I'm more annoyed about - this year's dissapointing season or the fact that the next will be absolutely the same.

    The Cavs adding George would likely make their series more intertaining, but don't know what that says for the rest of the league.

    Also - does Durant really earn that MVP title? I mean sure, he takes them over the top, but without Curry, this team doesn't beat them.

    Adding to that point - the Lebron hate is just absurd. The man did everything he could, from the offensive to the defensive end, averaging a triple-double and playing probably one of the best series of his career. I think this series says a lot more about the Warriors team, than it does about Lebron.

    I'm sure you think so :)

    Congrats to @os_mutante and you. I'll be surprised if we don't at least see a repeat, barring injuries.
