It doesn't matter.. you should know by now that the only way Bielsa will see fit to coach any respective team.. is if his demands are met.. Lopez is going to complete every whim Bielsa asks of him. Lille will be competitive next season as long as Bielsa gets his way.. which he should.

He left because Lazio didn't reinforce the team during the summer transfer window like they said they would.

There were a few rumors, but the one that seemed most true was that the Lazio Ultras (I Irriducibili) have a very big say in how the club is run. Bielsa did not know this when he signed on, and he did not particularly like it, so he left. He wanted to answer to a board, not the Ultras.

Yea.. I'm not sure about AMAZING signing... he flopped in Serie A tbh and was ok in his stint within Ligue 1... I think Monaco can do better than Kjaer.. but for that price, why not.

Being linked with someone doesn't mean anything, though. Do you know how many players are "linked" with clubs they never end up dealing with? He's 28 and the biggest club he's played for hasn't even played in the Champions League Group Stage. He's overrated, especially for a club with ambitions like Monaco.

Great to see Monaco win the League. Nothing against PSG, its good to see someone new win the league if you're a neutral somewhat. Plus this team deserved it with the way they played. They really attacked and went for it instead of sitting back. Excellent to see!

    Bonjour friends,

I'm starting out a "cash cab" like game show called "soccer sedan". Looking to feature AS Monaco in this week's episode after their title win! Would you guys like to submit a question? The more controversial/difficult the better ;)

Planning to shoutout this forum as well since its the best Ligue 1 English discussion forum I know. Here is a link to the show

PS- If you enjoy it would appreciate subscribing since that helps me a ton! :)

France Football says Monaco are interested in Nani (Valencia, Ex ManU.) Hes a 30 yr old winger who would lilkely replace Dirar who already announced hes leaving.

If you google, there multiple reports of ManU trying to send him to Monaco back in 2013.

According to Matt Law, whom covers Chelsea news, reports that Chelsea will be in France this week to meet with Tiemoue Bakayoko

Sergio Conceiçao left Nantes for Porto. He wasnt even there that long. Sucks for them considering what he did.

LOL surprisingly, I thought he was already extended his contract with Nantes just not too long ago? he was doing great and very promising in Nantes in a short amount of times, in fact he was already became the fans favorite figure in Nantes.

    Wish him well in Porto.

So it appears Galatasaray may sign Gomis and Belhanda. Now, I have no idea why Marseille doesnt want to keep Gomis because now they have to sign 2 strikers instead of one and getting rid of the sure thing, proven 20 goal Ligue 1 scorer and signing 2 unknowns sounds like bad business to me. Maybe Swansea's asking price is too high but Ive read nothing of what it actually is. Belhanda is a player Nice cant afford to lose and its weird how they cant pay the 9m asking price. Id say hes clearly worth that much. Also hes good enough to play in Spain, Italy, or England so going to Turkey for him is a step back if it happens.

All in all, it's a killer for the league. Have to be willing to spend a little more.

I think I read that the style Marseille plays, Gomis would be a sub and have to fight for a starting job so thats why he's leaving. Then again they are also linked with Germain would be also be a 2nd stringer and he doesnt want to be one. Stevan Jovetic is the big rumor right now btw.

Are France's high marginal tax rates still the reason to blame for Ligue 1's inability to retain foreign stars?

I read that the taxation for players salary (tax%) is ridiculous and much higher in Ligue 1 compared to other leagues, not sure whether it is sill stand or true or not.
