I said that they were not favorites to win. Chivas hit a slump heading into the playoffs while Togres were on a hot streak making it rather obvious who the favorites were. And I did not say that it was meant to happen, lol. I wrote that I had predicted that they were going to win the league title.
Next time instead of posting your wisdom on some far flung back alley website come to the BSMX.. Where everyone knows your name.. Sinceramente tu fren, Bops.
A-holes...competing on multiple fronts is no excuse for slacking off on helping and giving back to the community. On a serious note: what happens with Chivas and the other CCL-bound teams in the Apertura? CONCACAF won't call them up until February, so technically there's nothing preventing them from playing in Copa MX.
So then what does Queretaro get for winning the Copa MX last November? Morelia for being in the final of the cup this season?
Huh? Queretaro will play the supercopa but the CCL has never had anything to do with it. It's always the 4 teams that go to the league finals (and if one repeats, then it's the one with the most points).
Theoretically, if a 2018 Copa Libertadores berth were on the line, it would fall automatically to the Gallos Blancos as they're the only Copa MX winner from this season eligible to go.
Good question, Chivas has been one of the Liga MX clubs to take the tourney serious. They should take it upon themselves to be included in the next tourney.
