Ogawa is badly missed here. Japan's forwards cannot go on the end of the crosses.
U can use lemonsportle or bwin.tv.

Difficult start, then we created the best chances and we didn't score them obviously. There's space to win but the lack of striker is hurting.

Hope Japan can keep up this performance in the second half. Japan has been quite a slow starter in the opening three matches, they seem to be warming up earlier in this match.

    Painful match.
The chances are 50/50 and it's not good.

Japan seems far better in defence then in attack. I meant: none know what to do with the ball in attack while in defence they are quite composed.
I like that Fujitani tough guy.

Absolutely toothless in attack but solid defence keeping us in the game. Iwasaki non-existent.

Brave effort, the defence was immense and Hara was great too. If Endo can improve in his final third he looks like an exciting player.

Hopefully this is the end of Sakai's mind numbing selection and to making him captain only to leave him out halfway during the tournament.

He didn't play today so there's no need to drag him.

Farewell world cup. GJ on the coach for wasting precious callup spots.
Takagi was the icing on the cake to make sure this team would be offensively terrible. Sucks for Ogawa though

Hey, at least it was a while since Japan qualified...

Obviously he hasn't had any influence on the last two games but I'm talking about the endless selection itself of a player who had played a few minutes of football this season. His spot could have gone to another player, whether or not that player would've made the difference today I don't know but there were alternatives like Ito.

I see you're a new member, so you have no clue what you're talking about. So I enlighten you.
Ajax just played a European Cup Final. One which the only Japanese player ever to win a Cup once has won.:whistling:
Arek Milik went for over 30 million €€ to Napoli, while not even being a regular first team player for Ajax. So when even bench off, bench on players from this league go for that kind of money, it clearly is a sign of a place you as a striker donot want to be found dead on the pitch.
You want this guy to move to Portugal, because it's a better place than the Eredivisie, home to 3d rate strikers. Well, in that league a Dutchman is topscorer, just shy of the European golden boot behind Messi. A guy who wasnot rated as the best of our league.
In Italy Dries Mertens is top scorer and tearing the league apart, who once was thought of not good enough in our 2nd league, where once Honda played.
Kasper Dolberg is hot in Europe, as is Jörgensen, with transfer sums in the 10s of millions mentioned.
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...-news/man-city-transfer-news-dolberg-12978917. Bet those Manchester United and City scouts have no clue what they are doing and should consult your infinit knowledge on the qualities of players.
I'm sure you can come up with Japanese strikers that outshine these over priced 3d rate strikers. You could make a living from it by taking the market by storm with better strikers than those two league top scorers.
So because a guy is from Iran, he surely has no clue how to play football and him being a top scorer is a sign of the leagues quality. Okay, you're someone who doesnot look at how players perform and play, but make judgements on base of what their nationality is. Okay, that's the right way I guess.:whistling:

The coach's call-ups and tactics are questionable. Japan played the same way throughout the tournament with no adjustment in middle of games except for some substitutions. Nakayama and Hara did pretty decent in this match imo except for the corner which led to a goal for Venezuela but that is the collective fault of the team anyway. Nakayama has potential to make it overseas in a year or two imo.
