Draxler and Trapp win the French Cup, 1-0 in injury time. Trapp was on the bench. While Draxler lasted 72 minutes before being subbed off. It's Draxler's 2nd trophy after the Coupe de la Ligue in his 1st season in France. while Ter Stegen on the bench won the Spanish Cup. seems like there was 4 Cup finals today. And all 4 teams that won, have German Internationals in them.

Starting the BFG may have been the only correct decision Wenger has made all season. Per Mertesacker should be named #Arsenal player of the season. I don't give a fuck. What a man. What a fucking man. @mertesacker #FaCupFinal— Arsene's Eyes 💙 (@Arsenes_Eyes) May 27, 2017
WOW, such an unlucky player. I'm not even sure he'll even make the WC at this point if he's so injury prone. Reports are coming that Reus might miss 6 months....
he actually turned down the CC, saying he wanted to be healthy for the start of the season. Now that seems to be out of the window. so Weigl is out for 3-4 months while Reus is out for half a year. At least Weigl should be back not too far into the new season. But Reus might miss half the season already as half a year is around Nov-Dec.
Reus has a partial tear of the cruciate ligament in the right knee. Which is not as bad as originally reported. He should be out for 6-8 weeks. http://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/mar...riss-im-rechten-knie-51942238.bildMobile.html https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/6dui7j/in_german_reus_only_has_a_partial_tear_of_the/
Rudiger and Roma barely qualify for the CL GS. good news as last year Roma was eliminated in the playoff. all assuming he stays at Roma. As there are clubs in both Italy and England wanting him. With plenty of reports that Conte/Chelsea are high on him.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen signs a contract extension with Barcelona until 2022. http://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2017/05/29/592c0fb1268e3e1f428b461a.html
As I told before, I don't believe that Weigl with an ankle fracture can be back in 3-4 months and if he is able to play football (with a lot of painkillers) then I consider his WC participation questionable because of the burden playing not healthy most of the season.
Huddersfield Town win on penalties thanks to German players. Lowe, Hefele and Schindler all scored their penalties. With Schindler being the winner. LOL, now Huddersfield Town are in the PL for the 1st ever time. they also happen to be the PL team with the most German players with 4 current ones + a German-American coach.

seems like with Selke's transfer to Hertha, Hahn is unlikely to go there. Now the rumors are that Frankfurt want to buy him.
But why is Gladbach so desperate to sell Hahn? We don't even have enough strikers/forwards Hazard can't play there anymore. I've had enough
Because Hahn has the touch of a poorly co-ordinated elephant, with no passing ability to speak off; and if the club can sucker Hertha into spending over 5M for him they should take it and run. Drmic, Hahn, and Hoffmann can all go. Even Herrmann, if someone will offer a solid fee for him. With no europe next season they don't need as many attackers; even if Hecking insists on sticking with the 4-4-2. They'd need to buy just an attacker or two if they sold all of those players...in particular if Hecking experimented with a back three again and used a midfield trio to replace Dahoud. Raffael/Hazard - Stindl/Hazard Wendt/Johnson - Benes/Kramer - Grifo/Kramer - Traore/Johnson Kramer/Zakaria Kolo* - Vestegaard - Elvedi *a signing like Retsos or Gnagnon / Zakaria / Jantschke / Doucoure (if fit) In an ideal world they'd also sell Hazard to Everton for 30M+, and use that money plus some of the funds that had been earmarked for Christensen to get Fekir & Gnabry; but I doubt they can attract those guys with no CL to offer...still fun to fantasize about though; Fekir either rotating with Stindl & Raffael or joining them in an attacking trident, with Gnabry playing opposite Traore or Wendt depending on Traore's form....damn that would be sexy.
Depends on whether he's hot or not. When on Hazard is a dangerous finisher. And over-rating the importance of heading ability is why BMG neutered themselves and played Hahn/Drmic.
