With Paolo Guerrero suspended for Peru's next WCQ game vs. Bolivia, everyone's calling for Ruidíaz to get the nod up front based on his exploits with Morelia.
He's the only striker they can rely on. 'Orejas' Flores and Polo aren't in an out strikers. Speaking of 'Orejas', it would be nice to see him in México with Monarcas. He's had a tough time in Denmark, yet somehow manages to shine with Perú... Imagine a triumvirate of Ruidíaz, Polo, and 'Orejas'. Curiously enough, they all started with La U...
I really hope they win it too. That would be the icing on the cake for Morelia. With all the pressure of the descenso, gone they have good chance to achieve something historic... Moreover, they already defeated Xolos twice this year, in the Copa MX in Tijuana, and at home with a remarkable performance by Ruidíaz.

Victory for Monarcas. The bad news is that Ruidíaz got injured... Hopefully it's nothing serious. 862856334601056256 is not a valid tweet id
Sosa was equally important to deny Xolos a couple of times... That save was class... Brutal Sebastián Sosa, simplesmente brutal! pic.twitter.com/HDQ5jIYdNA— Petric Carvalho Moreno (@petrickmoreno) May 12, 2017
I said this in the other thread, but Gabriel Achillier was massive last night. Had the Xolos attack completely under control and even started a few attacks. I usually don't rate him but I can't fault his effort last night. He was the best on the pitch.
Se siente una gran emoción de festejar este gol del equipo Monarca ¡Vamos por más muchachos! ⚽️🙌🏻 @FuerzaMonarca https://t.co/DvOvJat4ec— Marco Antonio Solís (@MarcoASolis) May 12, 2017

That's usually about 3 weeks to 3 months. Liguilla is off for him, hopefully he'll make it in time for Bolivia though.
