Really irritating the way Elneny chases the ball.

First match I've seen in a month and they appear so bored.

Yeah right, Wenger with a voluntary first half subsitution. Hell will freeze over before that.

Should we take bets on when Mustafi is sent off?

Just saw the replay and for me Gabriel & Elneny were culpable. Mustafi not so much. Elneny was just watching the ball and moving slightly towards it each time it was passed around... really ineffective!

I'm a pretty loyal guy but I agree. If he's one of the defensive experts on the coaching staff then it's fair to say he's failed to fix persistent issues over the course of several seasons.

IMO he's not starting material for a team challenging for honors. I honestly feel he wouldn't be given this much time of late if he wasn't English. Great asset off the bench, especially as a change up from Giroud, but he's not gonna lead a side to a trophy unless they've got great stuff elsewhere all over the pitch.

Bellerin a lucky boy not to see yellow there.

Kind of absurd how much Bellerin has regressed.

Martinez seeing the shit Ospina and Cech have had to deal with all season.

When Wenger moved Sanchez up top earlier in the season, we had a good string of results. Why did he change his mind on that??

Honestly, I wouldn't have an issue selling him to Barca as long as they were willing to shell out a decent amount.

would be nice if it was the man bun, but the only thing I can come up with is the injury. he seems to have lost a step in quickness, which is seriously disturbing at his age.

Cue the seriously important halftime talk by Wenger. Wonder if he's got that in him these days?

He might just be carrying an injury. It's more how bad he's been positionally, and how awful his decisionmaking is.

Some of this down to the swinging door the team has had at the defensive midfield positions? Seriously, the rotation of couplings in front of Koz and Mustafi has been, IMO, really disruptive because as each pair struggles Wenger tries something new and as a result the team's defensive approach and abilities are always in flux. How much of that is affecting Bellerin I can't say, but I think it's having a profound impact on the defense as a whole.

On the bright side, if we continue like this we will miss out on the Europa League altogether.

Giroud & Ramsey set to come in. For Welbeck and Elneny.

I think at least one of those subs shoud have positive effect.
