Issue: On the "Forum List" menu (which I have found myself using for navigation) the parent fora ""On the pitch", "Soccer cups", etc.) need to be clickable, not just headers.
A very minor point: I can't seem to find anymore where the list of trophy points is located. Probably it's just me, but is it really in the same place where it was in the past? Maybe, there could also be a reflection about super-trophy points: after all, when you reach 113 points and the Member+ status, what else you can do? Nothing else makes sense...
I miss the hover pop-up on the Alerts flag. (Using Firefox if that matters.) And on mobile, the ads seem REALLY big and REALLY slow to load. I really don't want to go back to the ad blocker, but this makes it REALLY tempting.
@Andy R I assume you are following this thread, but I would like to point out that these seem to be the two biggest user issues right now, above the list which I posted (and updated) a page or so back.
I don't think the people running this place understand how much I need to easily know which of my posts were repped. The mouseover event or whatever for the alerts need to be fixed yesterday.
I'm well aware that it's been said by others, but I can't hold my tongue any longer. Can we please get the breadcrumb trail back to the bottom of the page sooner rather than later? Unless we're going back to the old days of BigSoccer where we can read from the bottom up, it's an enormous pain in the balls having to scroll all the way back up, then look for the link to get back. I don't care if you copy what's at the top and paste it to the bottom, but please make this happen sooner rather than later.
OK, as long as we're encouraged to pile on, I also miss the location links (e.g., Home > Forums > Customer Service > Customer Service) at the bottom of the page. The goofy green scroll arrows are not an adequate substitute (and on mobile they're an affirmative nuisance).
Sorry - can you clarify this one for me? There is a way to jump back to the top of the page, but I'm a little unclear what you are looking for.
Of course. In the old iteration of the site, there would be a breadcrumb trail at both the top and bottom of the page. The one on the bottom was under the page number listings. Now, if you want to get to the breadcrumb trail, you need to scroll all the way back up to the top. It's incredibly inconvenient having to go all the way back up to the top of the page just to get to that, and clicking that irritating green arrow (which I'm personally not a fan of, especially on mobile browsers, but it is what it is if it doesn't get removed) is still one extra click that doesn't need to be made.
The circled, but repeated at the bottom of the screen as well. Not something I personally use, but it was at the bottom of the old forum:
The green arrows disappear randomly when I am trying to move the icon over to click on them. They only come back if I move the page up or down again.
The alerts thing not working is really starting to annoy me, especially because it worked when the site first updated. No update on whats happening with it?
The weird thing about the green arrows is that I get them on my laptop, but not my desktop. How are those arrows supposed to work?
They show up for me whenever there is scrolling or any movement of the page whether sidebar, page up/down, space bar or anything else. They do not show up for just any cursor movement.
Isn't that kind of backwards though? Shows up when I have already started scrolling the page by some other means but doesn't show up when I move the cursor to where the arrow are, very counter intuitive I'd say. Also IMO the arrows are on the wrong side. Low on the left hand is pretty much the last place I put my cursor during regular browsing, low right though is somewhere it ends up naturally pretty much all the time when coming to the end of a page. It's the side of the top breadcrumbs and of the page navigation, isn't the arrows related to that? Not to mention that having the arrows just next to the regular browser scrollbar seems like an unnecessary doubling up.
I was saving my alerts, accidentally hovered over it and lost them all. I prefer not changing it now. Thx, Jay!
The site was broken a little while ago. An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.
