Denisov, Sergeev, Shomurodov are absent due to injury. Attacking line seems to be quite experimental.

Weird line up with Lobanov as GK (he seems very inferior to Nesterov) and Abdulqoliqov as forward, but maybe uzbek coach knows better...

I don't know why, but I have a very bad feeling about this game, and fear Syria may win...
And if syrians were to win, they would climb up with 8pts, getting very close to Uzbekistan with tough games ahead... Good luck anyway, uzis !!

But China leading against South Korea is good news for uzis though.

however doubt that China will keep this result...

And China winning too ! If Iran manages to win in Qatar, that will be a huge leap forward.

You guys need Abramov back big time. It was a great mistake to let him go.

Every Uzbek fan wants Abramov to be the head coach of NT and everbody was against his dismissal when UFF fired him suddenly from nowhere. But things are very complicated in UFF as nobody dares to fire Babayan not mentioning about return of Abramov. Old fart president of UFF is sick as *uck nowadays and our football is completely out of control. UFF even doesn't want to hear about Abramov as he is believed to forfeit decisive match with UAE for London 2012 Olympics when we were leading 2-0 and conceded 3 goals in the last 20 mins of the game in Tashkent. Recently Abramov was appointed as the head coach of FC Bukhara, but on the same day of his appointment, UFF made official statement claiming that all news about Abramov is just rumor. It was the first case in UZB football history when UFF expressed his reaction to the assignement of coach to any PFL team.

That is just sick. You might have a powerful mafia in your football/UFF which hate Abramov. I am Iranian but I am amazed by the team Abramov put together. I even like to have this guy as head coach of my beloved club Persepolis.

Uzbekistan playing very poorly again against Qatar in Tashkent... The white wolves are definitely toothless and do not deserve any wc spot. I'm starting to think that China or even Syria may edge them in the end for the playoff round.. Pathetic...

Heheh white wolves finally lucky as hell !!! One valid goal for qatar cancelled by the referee and now uzbek defender hitting the crossbar almost scoring an own goal... Hopefully Odil Akhmedov's victorious'vicious free kick will suffice to keep the 3 pts

Babayan's NT definitely playing like sh!t, but I can't recall any Qatari goal if you don't mean one scored from 1 metre-offside

Congrats on the win... but no offence, with Babayan still the manager... there is a good chance Uzbekistan will get destroyed at Azadi..... it is very sad for me to see the Uzbek team like this, there are many good players like rashidov, ahmedov... etc they deserve to be in the world cup, but with a coach such as this... that is not possible. hopefully after iran match Babayan is fired and a competent manager is hired, then you will still have chance to make it through play offs, playing Panama or Honduras should not be difficult for Uzbekistan.

We still waiting for good news about his resignation, but it seems like he's going to stay. UFF doesn't require too much from Babayan, regular 3rd place in group isn't bad result from their point of view. UFF doesn't give a sh!t to the opinion of fans, recently one of UFF officials have written in his Facebook that Babayan deserves a statue for his services:ROFLMAO: Now just imagine what kind of a$$holes working in our federation

What do you think are your chances of beating Saudi Arabia over 2 legs if you go to playoffs against them?

If we keep on playing this, KSA will beat us without any effort. Another problem of playing in this stage is that players won't be enough motivated despite which team they are playing against. On the other hand, Syria would perform much better than us in play-offs as they originally trying to get 3rd place in the group.

You guys better not lose hope. There is a very good chance that South Korea might not become the second team in this group. Uzbekistan has to focus and drop less points. A tie with Iran and two wins will get you through. A tie with Iran will force us to defeat South Korea and that means two defeats for them. Even if they win their remaining match the final standing will be like
    1. Iran 24
    2. Uzbekistan 19
    3. Korea 17

He is the person which brought betting industry to UZB:D Therefore UFF treats him very sceptically despite the support of most UZB fans. You may just read some of comments in championat.asia regarding NT, everywhere you can see words like 'Bring Abramov back', 'Babayan out' and etc.
