Chelsea are linked with Bernardo Silva today according to the Times in the UK. Anything you've heard?

iirc Man U are also linked heavily with Bernardo Silva. Something along the range of 85-100 mil quids. I don't think you'll see any real concrete information regarding his future until Ligue Un is over, but just so you know, Bernardo Silva has A LOT of suitors, including Barcelona.

The reports I read mentioned the Manchester Clubs, Barca, and Real along with us. This is the first I've seen his name and us mentioned at all.

Yea, I expect somewhat of a bidding war for him. He's very good for his age and has done extremely well during his stay at the municipality.

I read Man U rumors with Bernardo since perhaps Christmas.

Rumors saying he has already reached terms.

We'll see. He absolutely fits what Chelsea needs which is his pace and directness. I'd happily take him.

Rumors. Don't think there's anything to them. Monaco doesn't conduct business this early.

Crazy match. Payet's goal was top class.

It's crazy how bad Clinton N'Jie has turned since his debut season.

He never really had any great skill beyond blazing speed.

That goal where Mendy scored, I would be so frustrated as an OM supporter. One of the OM players was basically walking and Mendy just blew by him to get on the end of the ball in.

Yeaa, but even that has gone unnoticed since his first season with Lyon. Dude does absolutely nothing on the field.

Completely agree. Glad O'L got the money they did for him.

Anyone think Joao Moutinho is a bit underrated? For this team he works best as a sub/part timer and thankfully Monaco have the luxury of not having to start a player all the time that has a big salary. At 30 this is maybe his last chance to get a decent contract in Spain, Italy, or England, so I would suspect he leaves this summer. Also since like I said he doesnt fit into the team as a full time starter.

Think his chance as at a big contract has probably passed him by.

Wow. Just wow. Mbappe Lottin has been fantastic.

It's a shame you drew Manchester City. Granted the tie is far from over but this side could do some serious damage in the UCL.

You saw what happened in Manchester, they were in position for a good result and they couldn't kill the game off. Thats on the manager. League title is still most important though since its been a while.

Completely agree. You have yo finish in the league. There will be a lot of money coming your way this summer as well. Finishing the league off would be nice as there may be a small step back next year with the sale of a few.

Don't disagree but my guess is they will take a slight step back after losing a few players. That will happen to any side.

I'm afraid Lyon will struggle with Laca and Tolisso heading out the door. Also not convinced we'll see any of that money put back into the market.

Silva, Mbappe, Moutinho, Fabinho, Lemar, Germain, Bakayoko, and Sidibé will all be targeted by bigger clubs. My guess 4 leave.

But Monaco has a great scouting system n elite youth academy. They'll find a gem again or pip one up from the youth sides. I don't think any of the players now have come with huge price tags besides Falcao n Moutinho.

I guess we'll see this summer.

Absolutely the case. I'm tired of the PSG monopoly so I want Monaco to finish them off this season.

The question for me here is what Monaco wants. Do they reinvest the funds back into the squad? Do they sell off pieces like so many do? I hope they continue to push though. It makes the league better.

Yeah and I think Nice will keep pace ahead of them. They will keep Belhanda probably. Balotelli has been so inconsistent he wont get a big contract somewhere else. Thats good for Nice. The major problem is Dante will be another year older so can he keep playing the crazy amount of minutes hes played this year. They might even be able to get Ben Arfa back too.

Plus Nice's midfield is really young. Koziello, Walter, Seri, and Cyprien are all really good and talented enough to build a side around.
