1-1 to La paz for the second leg. I'm keeping my feet well placed on solid ground. TS had ups and downs, I think Chuma scored when UE played its best. TS started with almost the same team except Jara started for Wayar and Martelli for Valverde of course Pablo and Alonso at top. The game was back and forth in the first few minutes with UE having a free header to open the scoring. TS hanged around and Vaca wasted time like the Peruvians do when they play in La Paz. I wasn't disappointed in the goal at the end because I knew our team had put in a shift. I felt that maybe UE could of scored twice but Vaca was outstanding. Castro picked up the pace in the midfield with his ball release and Farías got it right playing Jara and Chuma on opposite wings. I want to talk a little about Jara he is an MLS reject. I chatted with a FC Dallas fan and he told me that his skill level wasn't up to MLS standard. From the games I have seen him play, he is well above the Bolivian league standard. I'm looking forward to seeing him play the rest of the season. Jara is different because of his use of his athleticism and quickness with the ball. I like his endurance, hopefully he will continue to rise his level of play. Overall we haven't won anything, La Paz is next week and if my memory is correct UE beat or tied Bolivar in La Paz last time for Copa Libertadores. Here is the video enjoy.

Henry Vaca, Bolivia sub-20 player signed 1 year deal with TS yesterday. I hope he gets minutes in the first squad. I watched this player in last months tournament and I also saw him a couple years ago when he played with Tauichi. Technically great, small sized quick with the ball but he needs to develop his vision and also a shot. Hopefully he is able to get some that this year and he plays and extends his contract after this year.

Big game tonight, TS has made a major change and is playing Wayar instead of Jara. This move is defensive and hopefully helps the control UE attacks. The rest of the team is unchanged. It's all or nothing we need to win in order to make it into the group stages. I'll post if I find a good stream. Wish TS luck.

What a game, it was just one of those mystical nights in La Paz, those that strikes fear in the heart of all South American federations. Fox Sports couldn't stop talking about the Altitude. I won't let them sour what was just the perfect game. Everything that had to go our way went in our favor and more. Chuma was inspired despite his injury, Pablo played like the crack he was 10 years ago. Castro was amazing holding the ball and that assist for the first goal was world class. UE played their part and gave up minutes into the second half. TS qualified for the Group Stages and sent a message to the other teams in the group. This Copa Libertadores has something special in the air. Here is the video enjoy.

Amazing game, amazing victory! Farias goal is to actually win the cup, which seems very optimistic, but this is the best TS version I have ever seen. Best team in Bolivia now (sorry Bolivar)

I'm afriad it will not last long though (long period) Escobar is here only for a couple more years. In 5 year most of the other players will be over 30 and although we have a youth team in place, I'm not sure how much exposure they're getting.

I agree, the team is getting older, Escobar has got a couple of years at most. However I see a good amount of young player getting good experience in these international games, that's important to their development. Players like Wayar, Castro, Ballivian, even Chuma is 26 I believe. Behind those guys they signed Vaca who played for the U20 and was with O'higins in Chile, they'll host the other Baca from the U20, and have been bringing guys from the academy for cameos, probably will see more of that as the first team plays Libertadores.

I read about the 3 players from the u-20 training with TS squad. It's a professional favor from Farías to el Loco, I hope that Soria plans on adding them on to the NT squad for the March WCQ. Chuma is the natural successor of Pablo, as a team we have many young guns in position except for CB. Valverde is the only player on our roster in that position who is under 30. I want to believe that Farías and the dirigencia are both thinking about all of this.

Checa is a CB but on occasions has played DM. Not regularly though. So I didn't get to watch or hear yesterday's game. However we won and are on a good home winning streak reference our next big night. This Thursday we play in Lapaz vs Santa Fe, I fear playing Colombians in Lapaz. It hard for TS to keep up the pace even with the altitude. I'm happy that Chuma isn't injured, I believe this is his year. Chuma has been a beast on the pitch and he looks unstoppable. Here is the video from yesterday game. It's a shame about San Jose their players haven't been paid in months and they still performed.

Ok boys, I'm super excited for tonight. If I find a good stream I'll post. Hopefully we have another mystical night in La Paz those that scare the AFA into demanding FIFA ban all WCQ at the Hernando Siles. We shall find out in a couple of hours. Glory to The Strongest (The Gladiator movie).

Not good, first half was luckless for Santa Fe, and poor for TS. Hopefully the second half is better.

Not TS best performance however in short tournament like CL I'll take the 3 points. The opponent was very aggressive and deserved to leave La Paz with points. Vaca didn't allow them to score he was my second favorite player. Of course Chumita was my player of the match, Chumita's association with Alonso is interesting mainly because it gives TS another avenue to score. Pablo played his heart out but it wasn't his night. Our defense was a little suspect against Santa Fe's counters. TS CB showed how slow they were and with the Bejaranos committed forward TS was saved by the Vaca's reflects and bad/unlucky finishes by the visitors. There is a saying that a good team finds ugly ways to win. TS won ugly but they won. Here is the recap with a short interview of the Libertadores top goal scorer Chumasteiger. Enjoy.

1-0 in Yacuiba, and now TS flew to Brazil. I heard the game on the radio and also watched the highlights. Nelvin scored in front of his family. Only player that started this game who is a normal starter was Wayar. Henry Vaca also got his first few minutes in the Bolivian league. There was some controversy at the end of the game between Farías and local media. I believe there was shoving and pushing. I think the national press has found Farías Achilles heel. Farías is a hot head in front of the mics and cámaras. Hopefully this will not lead to any real problems later on. Thursday night we play Santos. Huge test to see if we have a fully fit, inform squad. This is tense and stressful mainly because of our history in Brazil. Although we had a glory win last year in Brazil. I think it will be hard to get another. Anyways here is highlights from Sunday.

TIP: As far as live streams go, Since facebook launched "live" streaming I find it very easy to find a ton of streams (particularly for international competitions) by just searching the name of the team playing.

Brazil isn't our strong point, performance was on par with past Libertadores games in Brazil. TS lost the unbeaten streak with this game. Veizaga was terrible, he has no sense. I believe Chuma re injuries himself. TS without Pablo is brainless. TS without Chuma is soulless. Ramallo falls to third choice for second striker. Vaca fault was his position and the position of his wall on the goal. Not much more except that the WCQ break couldn't come at a better time. Finally the ref was fair but his attitude towards the end with TS players was suspect.

PS I HATE FOXDeportes. I can't watch any Libertadores in HD because Mexican teams aren't playing. LAME!!!

TS had a great pre Libertadores on all four games, but in this 2 group games they seem like a different team, even the win against Santa Fe was kinda lucky and they didn't play very well. Hope they improve in during the WCQ break.

Game today against Universitario, I'm looking forward to getting on with the season. TS has several changes today No Pablo, Chuma, Castro, Wayar, Marteli, O. Bejarano all are resting after their participation in the WCQ. I want to see all 3 strikers Ramallo, Pedroza and Alonso at top and Coca in the midfield. The back 4 has two changes with Pedraza instead of Marteli and Ballivian instead of O. Bejarano. It will be interesting to see TS without its core group and I want to see who out of the 3 strikers is hungry enough to take charge of this game. I was a big admirer of Vega the old DT in Universitario. However Vega was released a month ago in order to keep this group of new players happy Vega's records in our league and internationally is outstanding. It's sad that a small team who was showing promise decides to drop a long process for instant gratification which hasn't been working out for them. I hope TS gets it done today.

So I got a link to a solid stream at around 25 minute. It was by far the worst game I saw TS play. Farías played a 4-3-3 with no one running or planning the game. At top you had 3 individuals trying to show off to standout, an nothing worked for either. Ramallo was disappointing, he was responsible for what started as an on field clash between several players on both sides. Ramallo wacks at a players ankle who is falling to the ground. It snowballed to an outside the stadium standoff. Ok so this is crazy, please stay with me. On the field both DT were giving red cards. They both tried to do that tough guy act, the one where you get behind several other people and tell them to hold you back as you call out your opponent. The embarrassing part is that after the game is done and according to police reports 2 hours after the match. The DT from la U, was walking down the street from the the Stadium and saw the TS bus, he made the bus stop and called out Farías. This where the accounts differ, TS say they stoped and only allowed some to get off the bus to simmer the situation down, La U DT claims that the whole bus got off and pretty much jumped him and his two assistant coaches. Both accounts agree that two police on motorcycle broke things up. That is where the drama begins, you can find both sides videos expressing their accounts of the events. I must warn you they are both just as embarrassing, I don't understand how professionals can conduct themselves in such a childish manner. Well TS lost the game because TS is nothing without it's core group. Wonder kid Vaca got a solid mins he showed some great moves but his size is his mountain to climb. I saw Diaz who TS signed from CAR, he looked clumsy and not in game shape. Ramallo needs to go he did score the goal but his attitude and lack to team playing is obvious he needs to be humble and lead. I expected him to be the player to pull the strings but he just acted alone. Overall a forgettable match that because of immature actions on both sides will impact both teams season with fines and punishments. Now to look forward to Wednesday "Clásico 204" and we can enjoy it live on Bolivar YouTube Channel. Here is this Sunday's tape. Embarrassing!

I heard. Farias whie a great coach and knows how to fire guys up--because of that too, has had issues with his temper and violence. In Mexico for Tijuana if I remember right, he almost assaulted a coach in mexico as both almost got into it.

While I think both is at fault...I think Farias is at a whole different level of hot-headed ness. Explains the comparisons to Mourinho though.
