Former Chelsea player Gael Kakuta is set to join Hebei China Fortune after Sevilla revealed they reached an agreement with the Chinese side for his transfer.

He is the latest recent player to ditch and left Europe for Chinese Super League lol

And once upon a time he was so much a promising young player for us. Back in 2010 he was actually part of the core member of France under-19 football team that included Griezmann, Lacazette, Bakambu which was crowned the UEFA European under-19 Champion after defeating Spain 2-1 in the final, and afterward Kakuta was awarded and named as the tournament Golden Player of the year loh, hahaha

The talents is obviously there, sad and crazy that so much had been falling apart for him since then.

YESS Griezmann just scores a great goal against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu!

He is playing very well. Best player on the pitch. I knew he'd score!

It's really interesting that within that team, one thought after the tournament we would have several internationals. The lineup then was:

    http://lineupbuilder.com/?sk=s7ty0

And right, Kakuta was awarded best player as well. But just has never put it together.

In other "French Abroad" news, Kingsley Coman scored the winner in Bayern's win over Wolfsburg. Ribery also did well when coming on as a substitute. This is good since with Douglas Costa looking more mediocre of late, Coman needs to do what he can to keep his playing time up, which he's doing, so he can get into the squad this summer :)

Griezmann just scored against Barcelona in the second leg of their QF tie.

Can't wait to watch him this summer! What a player

I've been puttin this guy on a pedestal for years now. Finally, people are seeing why. He's amazing. I wonder if Guignol is starting to think that he might be a decent player. :p

Umm I'm right there with you, I've been a huge fan of him since the VERY beginning. I've had to cool it with my posts about him this season after being accused of being a fan girl by @guignol

How do you define fan girl? ;)

He is my favorite non-PSG player. That's as far as it goes! I don't think he's the best player in the world or anything crazy like that. That's how fan girls/fan boys feel about their favorite players!

Haha, Griezmann scores a great goal seconds after coming on from the bench (he was being rested for his team's CL game on Tuesday).

Anthony Modeste is killing it in Germany. Keep an eye on him for a France call up.

Gameiro scored the second fastest hat trick in La Liga history today for Atletico, with all three assists coming from Griezmann. I would assume this will put him well ahead of Torres in the eyes of Simeone! ;)

An interesting name is Mousa Dembele at Celtic. Granted he's from Fulham's really good academy. Chelsea have been heavily linked with him now for two windows. No where near national team ready, but could very well in the future.

Good to know. I probably knew that at some point but it fell to the recesses of my brain.
