OC Blues have an actual forum all for themselves: http://forums.bigsoccer.com/forums/orange-county-blues.1486/
Yikes, talk about super generic. That said I guess it matches up with their affiliate club a bit better than the current name.
Interesting that the OCB-LAFC partnership will be an exclusive deal, at least for signed players from the US. I like that; I also like that it looks like the teams are seriously committed to the partnership. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2016/...ve-deal-expansion-player-loans-atlanta-united
Makes sense. Let's LAFC get some exposure in both sides of the sideline for heir players and potential fans. Now if the Blues could get themselves in a venue worth of this setup...
I'm hoping they can move to Cal State Fullerton for next season. Going more south OC would be to far for me to attend any games.

With that new web address it seems confirmed that they're looking for more than just a new logo. Goodbye Blues.
their plans and approach towards the partnership with LAFC should be interesting with NASL rumored to expand in OC and both USL/NASL now division II. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2017/...t=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
Several LAFC supporters who go to secret meetings and post on Twitter are saying they saw some options for the OC Blues rebrand and they were all, and I quote, "awesome".
I hope someone leaks all the options, I'd like to see them all (as we did with OKC and Charlotte, among others) instead of just the final pick.
ORANGE COUNTY GETS THEIR MAN: LOGAN PAUSE NAMED BLUES HEAD COACH The Orange County Blues Football Club has finalized their coaching staff for the 2017-2018 today. Logan Pause will lead the Orange County club after a successful 14-year professional career with the Chicago Fire as a team captain, coach and Vice President. GM and Executive Vice President, Soccer Operations Oliver Wyss made the announcement this afternoon. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. http://www.uslorangecounty.com/news_article/show/744268?referrer_id=2576979
The Orange County Blues have announced they will hold open tryouts January 14-15 at Oak Creek Community Park in Irvine. The now-annual tradition has resulted in a player from the tryout making the roster the past two years — Nikola Ilich in 2015 (he returned last season, too) and Dusan Stevanovic in 2016. The tryouts might take on a bit more meaning this year, too, with the partnership with MLS expansion team Los Angeles Football Club in mind. Surely MLS scouts have continually watched all of USL over the years for prospects, but the partnership means LAFC will have increased scrutiny over the players on Orange County’s roster in 2017, and who knows, if a player really shines at the tryout and then with the USL side, there could be more to come in his pro soccer dreams. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2017/...nce-open-tryouts-for-2017-season-usl-lafc-mls

Damn I missed calling it by one letter. I figured they'd go with OCFC like their partner is LAFC. Still OCSC partnered with LAFC. It's an abbreviation lover's dream.
