    Here we go...

    Republic FC signs Adam Moffat

Article says this is a multi-year deal, and that he'll play midfield alongside Jeremy Hall, who will be signed. Moffat had 8 goals last season with the Cosmos. At 30, he probably has at least a couple of good years left in the tank.

As of today, we can run a pretty good team onto the pitch.

Now we need to shore up that backline a little bit more.

Edit: Corrected the count of players.

I like the signing of Moffat, but not really excited about a Moffat-Hall central midfield. Hope I'm wrong though.

Isn't that the little guy that's like 5' tall? I remember not liking him when he was playing against us.. weird we would pick him up.

Meh, that's a good thing IMO. While Cam scored some goals for us I always felt like his performance was above his actual skill/ability, and that would catch up with him/us next season only to have a correction made too late. I'd like to see some new forwards up top, we can do better.

Srfc need to start paying their players a decent living wage. Ridiculous that a multi-million dollar club are still paying grown men $200 a week and are banned from making money on the side through training kids or running little camps and clinics.

I think with the quality guys they are adding... McGlynn, Moffat, Hall and Caesar... mgmt is showing a commitment to getting and paying quality players. BTW... fans are going to like McGlynn. Played at UCSB and got drafted and signed by the Quakes... but was released when he sustained a season ending injury. He's a guy that will be very hard to keep out of the starting lineup... serious competitor and plays w/ heart.

    Good take.

I liked him, but felt he was "punching above his weight class". If he signs somewhere else, we will see, I guess

I just noticed something: don't grow a man bun if you want to stay on this team.

Will Adam Moffat get his brother in law Steven Lenhart to the Sacramento Republic?

Wow, did not expect him to go up to MLS, but good for him. I don't think he'll do anything there, but I hope I'm wrong as that will reflect well on Sacramento. I have a feeling KC is trying to get another Dom Dwyer out of a lower league, but Dwyer I'm afraid Cam is not. In any case I hope he is on the first team and not loaned immediately to Swope Park.

I posted a link to a SacBee article on the media thread that hinted at two more signings at forward. That's great and all, but I hope we sign at least some more depth on the back line.

Moved Cam and Derek to the Out list. Added Trevin Ceasar to the In, and updated Lamin Suma's position to F, as listed on the club's website.

With only 3 subs now, I'm thinking they re-evaluate the quality of the bench we can have now.

Joaquin Rivas posted on Instagram that it was a hard decision but he won't be back.

Given he logged only 173 minutes last year and we seem to have upgraded our attack, it was probably the right one.

    Fingers crossed...

Of course, he previously said Kiffe would likely be gone, but at this late date it seems increasingly likely that he might stay.
