Our game plan is we're going to take a clue from that pigeon and do the same thing to Hercules.

well if anyone who's starting this saturday isn't playing in this game then i hope both Alcacer and Gomes start this game and play the whole 90 minute ( sure will we lose because of them but we might somehow manage to turn it around in the 2nd leg )

Thanks for starting the thread in place of our thread master, and good job too.

Hercules are in Barca B's 3rd group of the "second Segunda" aka the 80 team Segunda Tercera which promotes teams to the real Segunda (as far as Barca B or any club with a Primera club can get), but they do not meet till mid January.

    Jasper
Vidal-Marlon-Umtiti/Mathieu (both play half to get game legs back)-Digne
Gomes/Alena (Alena gets minutes just in case Lucho feels a need to play Gomes in Clasico, for what, I cannot imagine)-Gumbau-Denis/Iniesta (get 20 minutes in if cleared, same as CB situation above)
    Rafinha-Alcacer-Turan

1-2 and Alcacer finally scores for us (his minutes have been limited, other goal by Turan or Rafinha)

The squad is: Cillessen, Masip, Denis Suarez, Arda, Rafinha, Paco Alcacer, Digne, Sergi Roberto, Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Umtiti, Alena, Carbonell, Nili, Borja Lopez, Cardona. http://www.sport-english.com/en/new...r-hercules-game-samuel-umtiti-returns-5662108

So cross out Mathieu and Iniesta from my prediction of getting limited PT above. I forgot Ini like Masch is suspended. Hard to imagine Iniesta starting in Clasico "cold", but we'll see.

So Mathieu reinjured, and Marlon's issues which delayed his registration now threaten to keep him out of first team in Liga and CdR until January registration. Great stuff.

See Sport for both stories. Marlon's case is considered an anomalous situation. Barça did register the player before Aug. 31, although the truth is that the processing of said registration was left pending various documents which were in the process of being processed. The signing of the paperwork came after the stipulated date.

French centre-back Jeremy Mathieu has suffered a relapse to the calf injury in his right leg, Barcelona have confirmed.
The player was injured in the Catalan Super Cup final on Oct. 25 but has failed to recover on time and will be sidelined for between 15 and 20 more days.

Great ... perfect ... Gomes isn't starting ( Arda , Rafinha and Denis are ) so i guess Lucho is planning to play him against LPB ... can't wait to see someone who can't pass/dribble/shoot/defend/attack play again ..

Very irritating.. I rather have Arda/Rafinha/Denis for LPB not ANSSG (Andre No Skill Shitty Gomez).

So according to transfermarket site the whole Hercules CF squad (19 players) is worth 3.7m. That's more or less what Turan's left nut cost us and still can't manage to score against a third division team.

    Fantastic depth!!

Actually its not the depth.. its the coach and motivation.. whole team is in miserable form.

FINALLY someone shoots from outside the box , the entire game so far was pass pass pass pass from side to side which was getting really irritating , well 1-1

This guys shows how you can score a goal if you take shots now and then instead of passing it into goal..

That goal came from nothing and could be the game changer..

i don't wanna be considered a bad person so i'll just wish that Gomes could get a " minor " injury in the 20+ minutes he will be playing

Cardona in the 2 minutes he played has done more than Alcacer has done in the entire freaking match lol

nice shot and header too bad he didn't score from them.

What I am thinking is that Gomez cost money and has to play (politics). I'd rather have Rafinha too.

Rafinha is an exception to that 'rule' that if you started tonight it means you won't start on Saturday, imo. He didn't play a single minute since the Malaga match so couldn't really have him go against Madrid cold. So the fact that he started today actually has me thinking he will start on Saturday too.

ugh, at least I picked a good day/week to be slammed at work and unable to watch a midweek/midday game. What a golazo by the kid:

Did you watch Arda and Rafinha tonight? Both beyond awful, look like they are not interested and the game beneath them. What a dreadful attitude.
