I don't know where the press is going with all these articles impling Vahid might get fired, after two very good victories and the first sketch of a generational change. They realllly don't like him.

I can say I've now finally got over Japan's 2014 World Cup. Took awhile considering they're my second team after the USA.

Not even after Russia2018 when Kubo will sub injured Honda, score an hattrick vs Aussies and give them the chance to face the same Russia in the Final16 where we'll win at pks with Komano guest of the japanese commentary?

I think what you're trying to see is that at the World Cup Honda will get an injury, so so he will be subbed off for Kubo. Kubo then gives Japan a hattrick to send them to the Round of 16 where they will face Russia and win on penalties.
