    Goal for Van Dijk

Impressive season for him so far, if he keeps his form he'll have his 30 millions transfer with Chelsea next summer.

Haha sweet, Marten de Roon stuns the Etihad scoring a late header to tie it up 1-1..
Was going to say he was pretty plain otherwise, his keeper with more completed passes and a little slow yet for a DM in the EPL, missing a few tackles, but away matches v City are tough.

Robben returned injured to his club from international duty. :D Munchen now is really just a rehab facility to get Robben ready for international games, love them.

Misses the clash against Dortmund tomorrow, which they might very well lose.

This is only going to cause more problems during the International Break injuring players - Clubs will be reluctant to release players & will look at all techniques including slowing the process of team integration of players returning from injury & will let them just stay in practise & will say the person hasn't fully recovered from injury!

There are a lot of matches. Possibly a small window for International matches won't be bad, but this thing will cause more friction!

@Mr.S - unless injured clubs have to release players for FIFA sanctioned matches. the fact that Robben was injured after only 45 minutes of play demonstrates that he is probably not going to be more than a spot player these days. His long record of injury and probably some poor biomechanics means that the Dutch NT as well as Bayern can no longer count on him.

Vermeij is very clumsy on the ball. I don't see a big future for him and he's only a year or two younger than Janssen who is much better.

PVA got an assist & had 2 clearances off the line & had a high whoscored rating!

whoscored ratings dont mean that much imo. The 3-5th best Ajax players this year according to whoscored ratings have been respectively Gudelj, Veltman and Klaassen.

That's the last of Janssen at Spurs I think.
He just coughed up a penalty

Maybe should have gotten some experience before jumping to the big league. In 2015 he was still playing vs FC Oss and the likes.

Douglas and Castaignos both started for sporting in taca de portugal .can't find any reviews of the game but they convincingly won 5-1. Castaignos had no luck in front of the goal.

He did well on the first Spurs goal... his shot was on target, bounced off the goalie and then cleaned up by Winks. The penalty Janssen conceded was a terrible mistake, completely unnecessary Lost of concentration. He will learn from this. I actually think Spurs are better with both Kane and Jannssen on top. They need playing time together, though.

Janssen doesn't have that killer vibe in the box - Look at Dolberg, his movement & shooting feels sharp.

Dolberg is another level. He will be the best striker in the world if he keeps this up.

Credit is earned though, not given. If he doesn't perform, he will not get to continue to play for a top team.

Lots of rumours about Liverpool going after Quincy Promes in the winter transfer window. I hope it comes true.

????? Maybe they don't think Sturridge will ever be fully match fit. That would be the only reason. Liverpool isn't in Europe this season so they don't have lots of fixtures to worry about.

Mané will be gone for some crucial fixtures because of AFCON and Ings is out for the season. Sturridge is fully match fit but he doesn't fit in that well in Klopp's Liverpool tbh.

Han hateboer has already confirmed he won't renew his contract at Groningen. Any body knows where would be his next destination.

Spartak is leading the russian league, they won't let Promes to leave for less than 25 millions I think.

I'm not sure Liverpool would pay this, if Klopp is a bit cleverer than our coachs he can simply use Wijnaldum on the wing, I'm sure he can provide almost as good as Promes there.

Wijnaldum and Promes are very different players on the wing, and Promes has a much higher quality, IMO.

Wijnaldum played the U21 tournament as right winger in 2013 and he was the best Wijnaldum we've seen in his whole career.
