If yes, then can you share the comparison on the fit of the heel? I had the napoli. The Napoli's heel did not fit me well enough. It slipped and almost caused me blisters.
I have not. The is pretty tight and has good lockdown but not as much cushion as the Morelia. The leather quality is absolutely top notch...but I think the MiJ Morelia edges it slightly. I think that is in part because of the water resistant agents that both companies use. The leather is a little stiffer than the Morelias but is ridiculously soft once broken in.
For who follows Diadora on Instagram... have you noticed this boot?: https://www.instagram.com/diadoraofficial (better see it on web browser)
http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prod...ns-Boots-Soft-Ground-Black-White-133354.aspx? Does anyone know why PDS has changed the SG version of the Brasil OG to a 6-stud model when it was a mix-sole a week or two ago? Also, is there anywhere that isn't charging an extortionate price for the black OG's in SG and FG? Wouldn't mind a pair of each for next season but £200 for one pair is a bit steep.
The elastic strap is an aftermarket add-on for reference. @ZAKI_TEPY_PL To help clear up your article this is the Diadora SuperGoal DAP (Dynamic Ankle Protection) It was a 1995-ish release and originally designed to protect Van Basten's glass ankles, but he never wore them on the pitch to my knowledge as he more or less unofficially retired in 1994 and formally retired in 1995 (I think he wore the Brasil in later testimonials before using the brands of the teams he coached). He was still a name and Diadora had the SuperGoal line well entrenched at this point so they didn't cut it off. There was also a release without the DAP feature that was the Supergoal II, it did feature a full neoprene bootie system that looked much like the adidas X 15.1's collar, but actually functioned and wasn't just for a visual. The SuperGoal I and MatchWinner I (Baggio's boot) also featured this bootie. I have been saying the DAP was ripped off for years by the Nike collar...additionally the outsole has carbon fiber which Nike likes to claim they "innovated".
nothing from that brand fits me, I ordered some hypervenom phelon II and my feet need another 1.25" in width on the forefoot/toebox. luckily those Capitano LT TFs were on sale from the Military Exchange online store for $12...haha I bought a 9.5 and a 10 for sizing. Whats not so great about them? thanks for replying by the way. I'm waiting on some Mizuno Monarcida SW AS. I just got a pair of Lancamento (takedown models) but they are great (3E) planning on getting the turf version of those. I'm f'ing obsessed with finding wide shoes.
No problem. The leather is far too stiff. The older models are much better than the current one. Unless of course you got the older one then great! Mizuno turfs are very wide so a great fit because of it (for a lot of people at least!).
Needs striking elements, pass pads, and a TUNIT soleplate. You'd have all boot "technologies" rolled into one.
Very sorry to hear, keep the faith though.... I have a buddy just coming back now who took 2 years off after loosing all the meniscus in one knee...
Blackout in the MII K-Leather model, loving this. Did we end up saying the sizing was close to the Copa Munidal? http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prod...DPU-Mens-Boots-Firm-Ground-Black-148940.aspx?
wow they look good. btw I very briefly popped into the pro direct shop in Soho in London a few weeks ago and held these in my hands... never seen them before for real, I have to say they do ooze quality. They felt amazing.
I am very inclined to buy a few pairs in each colorway as I get the feeling they won't be around forever and if my next surgery gets me back to playing I want to be prepared. I have been waiting since 2003 for these boots to be revived. I just want to get he sizing correct.
indeed, brasil sizing is close to the copa mundial i wear a uk6.5 in morelia, brasil in uk6.0.....just perfect my only worry is the heel lock....padding seems a little less generous
For me... Copa is a full size down... All my previous Diadoras was a half size down... And yes, I like a snug fit!
