    What other options do we have besides Bauza? Not like the job is paying that well these days...

    and Greece.

    However, in the WC, its usually the same few teams that reach the finals. Germany, Brazil, Italy and Argentina. Spain and Germany had adventage having at least half of the team playing in the team club. We only have Masche and Messi. Luck played huge part but team play makes most of it.

    Even Correa did more than Higuain did in the whole game.

    Really can't take Higuain anymore.

    Has to be Dybala-Icardi-Messi now.

    But need a replacement for Masche.

    Zabaleta was horrific. Our defending is some of the worst I have ever seen.

    Are they favourites, not in my book, I'd pick Germany over them every time. At the end of the day who cares who are favourites 2 years before a world cup? We were hot favourites in 2002 and Brazil were overwhelming favourites in 2014, how did that work out.

    Anyway sod Brazil. I only care about us sealing 5th spot!

    On one hand I wish it had been more goals for Brazil, because if we win next game it might save some face and then nothing changes yet again. But on the other I don't want Argentina to end up not qualifying for the WC :mad:

    If you can give me a clear explanation why Garay is never selected, I can write you an essay of why our defense is pathetic.

    Colombia has 18 points now, and if we beat them, we will top them. If Ecuador beat Venezuela then we will be #4 , if they lost then Argentina miraculously would #3 in a few days.

    That would make Bauza think he does everything right!

    We need these players out- really:
    Zabaleta
    Biglia
    Higuain
    Di Maria

    Replacement for
    Mascherano

    My problem with Higuain is not that he didn't get a chance, but that multiple times he didn't hold his run -- offside way too many times. That is just pure laziness.

    We need Simeone/Sampaoli/Pochettino on the bench.

    AFA cant pay Simeone, they cant even pay a slice of pizza for Pipita , otherwise he would have scored.

    In our defense, no one was good. In our midfield, only Enzo Perez was good.

    These two departments, we really need 8 better players.

    We are also going nowhere with Higuain and Aguero. Look at how mobile Brazil's front line is. Higuain is like a big log.

    Forget this game, we never had a cat in hell's chance of getting anything from this. We've actually got lucky with all the results going in our favour. But it's simple now, fail to beat Colombia then Bauzza has to go.

    I'm still baffled Enzo Perez was replaced at half-time. Really like wtf he was the best player. Encima para meter al culo Agüero.

    First things first, against Colombia, we need Correa-Aguero to start.

    Perez, Messi, Banega, Mascherano in mid.

    Mas, Funes, Otamendi, and Mercado.

    Then, revamp the team completely.

    I don't understand why Di Maria is considered untouchable. He has been horrible for us for so long, with no football IQ.

    We like to do things like that, Lavezzi was subbed at half time in the world cup final and he was the best player on the pitch. And who can ever forget Pekerhead subbing Riquelme against Germany.

    You know the player who more than any other dissapoints me when it comes to the NT? It's Aguero. Our most naturally gifted player after Messi, a player who at club lever is better than Neymar, yet for Argentina he is a ghost. It's so sad.

    For Colombia game is an absolute must to ditch Zabaleta, Biglia and Di Maria (ciclos cumplidos).

    Higuain, I don't know... Agüero is the same crap.

    For next year Icardi and Garay are a must.

    I understand about Aguero, but at least he makes runs, he has tried in the past few qualifiers.

    Higuain only brings only laziness.

    In many ways Bauzza is lucky in that each defeat hasn't damaged our chances of qualifying that much cause results keep going our way. Obviously if we fail to beat Colombia then it will be a different story. But if we win that he has to make massive changes, Garay needs to come back into the squad, Icardi and Dybala should replace Aguero and Higuain. It's time for change.

    Don't tell that to Bauza, or he'll go for the 0-0 result, thinking a PK shootout is going to follow :rolleyes:

    The entire needs to be gutted from top to bottom. Its not just that Biglia, Zabaleta, Romero that needs to be replaced. It is basically everybody needs to be dropped outside of Messi. I'd rather go out and lose with the properly fielded team that have to watch these guys lose before they even kick the ball.

    And after the next game, we will have 6 games left.

    Home-Chile
    @Bolivia
    @Uruguay
    Home-Venezuela
    Home-Peru
    @Ecuador

    Anybody remotely confident with the team we have now, we can win any of these away games? The game @Ecuador could decide who is going to the World Cup(Automatically or Play-off) and who is staying home.
