He has no future as an Ajax MF. All of the Jong Ajax MFs are better and at the A1 level are Antonucci and de Wit. Sure he can move on but I doubt he is ever going to be NT material. Can he become a successful LB? Does he want to?
Sinkgraven has no future at Ajax, MF or LB. He was never going to win the competition for the midfield and for the that back position I have more hope in Savastano. I said this when he came to Ajax, he should never have come here. He is still a good player and has real potential but he should go back to Heerenveen or maybe AZ or Vitesse.
Jonk said the same thing at the time http://www.vi.nl/nieuws/jonk-ik-heb-mn-mening-gegeven-over-sinkgraven-en-gudelj.htm
I can hardly stay awake, the football has been so bad! The weather is very nice this afternoon and I may just give up on the 2nd half and go for a walk. These guys are just standing around too much.
Sometimes I have the feeling that the Arena is too big for our players. The lines are too stretched, there is plenty of space between the midfielders and attackers. You have to play compact. This team is not like the teams of Peter Bosz. Beyond individual skills, this team lacks collective cohesion.
Quite a boring game against inferior competition. The lone goal was started by Viergever with a pass that Dolberg nicely headed over to Ziyech who slotted it home. A missed penalty by Schöne left the match closer than one would like though Excelsior was never a threat to score. Nouri made his long awaited appearance coming on at the 70 minute mark along with his Jong teammate Cerny. Player Ratings: Onana (6) - had very little to do Dijks (6) - didn't have to defend much and delivered some nice crosses Viergever (7) - his pass started the scoring play Sanchez (6) - poorest match in a while as he failed to properly mark his man on two occasions Veltman (6) - OK match Schöne (5.5) - ran out of gas late and missed a critical penalty; still not the solution to the controlling MF spot el Capitan (5.5) - just a bit above average and that's all Ziyech (6) - scored but that was it Younes (6) - didn't dribble into trouble today and laid the ball off nicely on some cutting runs Dolberg (7) - really nice control of the ball today and created some real danger Traore (4.5) - poor match on all accounts Cerny (6) - really dangerous speed and pressing ability on display Nouri (5.5) - out of position on the wing and clearly nervous; skied a shot high when he should have done better hard to get excited by games like this one. Celta in EL on Thursday. A win will pretty much send Ajax through to the knockout round
What have they done at Chelsea with Traore. Two seasons ago he was a constant threat with brilliant goals. One year at Chelsea and it is like he plays football for the first time.
Victory's Pasquali to join Ajax 5:55 AM UTC Vince Rugari Teenage Melbourne Victory sensation Sebastian Pasquali is set to leave the A-League club to join Dutch powerhouse AFC Ajax. The 16-year-old has made only two A-League appearances for Victory after rocketing to prominence with an assured performance against Juventus in a friendly match earlier this year. Victory said on Tuesday they'd been informed of Pasquali's intention to move but are yet to receive formal word from Ajax. In the meantime, Pasquali has been withdrawn from the squad for Monday night's clash against Wellington Phoenix at Etihad Stadium. Pasquali was not even contracted to Victory when he faced Juventus in the International Champions Cup in July but caught the eye with a cameo off the bench and even converted the winning penalty. The Wangaratta product also set up Marco Rojas for the winning goal in Victory's 2-1 triumph over Adelaide last week.
El Ghazi has been suspended from the first team for the month november. He got angry at Bosz and started pushing him. Probably living. I'm sure plenty of people over there got dual citizenship. Just like most Moroccans and turks in the Netherlands.
