Spurs are dismantling the Warriors. Bench scoring is like 35 - 6 , and Warriors rim protection is inexistant. I think Spurs will finish with best record this year, which will result in Leonard winning league mvp. Cavs will rest Lebron alot and Warriors will take time to figure out.
What's up with the NBA's website? I cant seem to view highlights of games, which is really weird. Poslano z mojega HTC Desire 820 z uporabo Tapatalk
Hahaha spurs are gonna be good when I'm like 60 and pops ghost is coachin them Really hope kd never wins a title
But the Warriors lost. The Warriors lost. They're looking for the missing piece to win the 2016-17 title, and while KD might be it, there's no guarantee that they'll win this year. The whole "chasing rings" meme is silly. It's ridiculous the way "fans" expect players to go thru their careers and never win anything. Some guys, no matter how individually talented, cannot lead the team they're on to the ultimate victory. Who the hell wants to play for nothing but money? I'm an NBA player, I want my headstone to read, "Here lies Auria Farrakhan Bradshaw Prottu X, former NBA Champion and paramour of Nina Hartley", not, "Here lies Auria Farrakhan Bradshaw Prottu X... His life didn't suck".
I generally agree. I'm not the guy to convince here. Although I do think NBA max contracts should be abolished to try and halt these superteams forming.
Can we really call GS a superteam? I mean, they're a super team, but these guys have one title and one single-season record. They've been great, really, only since the 2015 playoffs began. I have no problem with players deciding their own destinies. I grew up in an era when that wasn't as easily managed as it is today. Plus, outstanding talent grouped together can make the game more interesting.
Sure. Why not? They're no dynasty (yet?) but if they're not a superteam, then who is?? I have no problem with that either, but it feels kind of dumb when there's a system in which Harrison Barnes makes almost as much money as Kevin Durant. It encourages the superstars to clump together and encourages the formation of these ridiculous teams that basically ROFLstomp the rest of the NBA. Makes it less interesting for me. If Kevin Durant was actually able to get paid commensurate to the value he brings the team, there's no way the Warriors would've even been in the discussion IMO. They wouldn't have been able to compete with teams like the 6ers or the Lakers who could've potentially almost doubled what the Warriors were offering. But because KD's value is artificially capped to the same level as basically anyone else who's significant in the NBA, the Warriors were able to make the offer and pitch to Durant basically on the level of "dude, come to Oakland, our team would be ridiculous". It just doesn't make sense to me.
Lakers' first win! Walton was the true mastermind behind GS. Clearly Kerr is lost without him; just look at the standings. In all seriousness, good win, but the Rockets' D was a classic D'Antoni special. They have nice floor spacers to give Harden room to do his thing, but that's about all they have right now.
I'm saying there really isn't one, not atm. A few teams with superstar players, but would we use that to describe Draymond or Klay? When I think of "superteam", my mind goes to the Showtime Lakers and the Shaq/Malone/GP/Kobe Lakers. 60s Celtics. These teams we're talking about here are nowhere near as stacked as those were.
I just don't like kd or curry particularly I think he was a butch leaving a side that lead 3 to 1 and bottled it That said, warriors have actually given up more than I thought because their bench is now HORRIBLE Plus no decent c so I can see spurs bullying them time after time inside I think this move might wind up green n klay as they are now losing probably 15 shots a game between them extra??? Will they be as committed with an ISO player? Gonna be interesting for sure Early predictions Roty Embiid MVP kawhi Dpoty kawhi Mip Lavine (his j is nice now) Spurs win west Cavs win east Spurs win chip Pop is coty
In minutes restriction Embiid had 20 points, truth be told I am now a NOkafor Sixers fan. If Sixers can get some good pieces for Okafor pull the trigger and keep Noel. Embiid plays 30 minutes Sixers beat OKC, but it's about the whole season for Embiid not just one game so I don't fault Brown for the minutes limit... he has "it" I think.
